The rich man in Luke 16; perhaps many of the Pharisees; Sadducees; Pilate; High Priest - Caiaphas; many of the members of the Sanhedrin.

I do not presume to know such a thing. God knows, and He alone. Anything else is opinion.

I think this answer needs to be strongly emphasized.

How about Judas? The Bible says he "went to his own place?" Any thoughts on this? Some say that a resurrected Judas will be the anti-Christ...I do not personally subscribe to this thinking, but the Bible does seem to deal with Judas' eternity a little differently. Any thoughts?

You can make a case for Judas, as allowed in John 17:12.

However, I think this line of study fruitless: Without care, one can assign to hell just about anyone with whom you disagree.

I trust God to know, and Him alone. God infallibly knows His own — we do not.

Some do this WITH care. Sad!

Those that firmly make a statement like Agrippa, 'Almost thou persuadest me to become a christian.' show their stubbornness to believe and receive.

Judas is in hell today- John 17:12
Pharoah- the Bible says he hardened his heart Exodus 8:15,32; 9:34
    Herod Agrippa 1- Acts 12:21-23
    Cain- 1 John 3:12
    Zedekiah- 2 Chronicles 36:12,13

Why should it be wrong to do a Bible study on this? Is it presumption to take God at His Word? Should Bible study of any subject be 'fruitless'? I think not.

What is it, exactly, you think this study will uncover? Of what use will it be?

I don't think the Full gospel can be preached unless "Condemnation" and the consequences are preached along with "Justification", Jesus confirmed the existence of Hell and the presents of one (rich man) in hell.

Today, Christians are "condemned" for warning people of their "false beliefs" and the consequences, Hal Lindsey was kicked off TBN, for condemning the "Koran" and it's teachings.

I'm not a fan of "Lindsey", but the world needs to hear God's "condemnation" along with his "justification".

Anyone "offended" by the "word of God", is "not of God", so "preach harder", not less.

Just as GOD has a SON, Jesus, so does Satan, JUDAS.

The "war" between the "SONS" ends with Jesus's return to the earth, (first Resurrection) however the "war" between the "Fathers", (God/Satan) doesn't end until after the MK and at the GWT.

I think maybe this should be changed to "probably in hell today". I'm not God and, thus, cannot say who is there for sure or not.

    Just my $.02.

    Dead Man,
I completely agree with you. We do not know the will of God for another person, or for that matter, another person's heart in relation to Jesus Christ. There are lots of names we like to think of as in hell, ie Hitler, Stalan, Mao, and others of the like. The bottom line is that we really do not know for sure. The probability is high that they are there, that would be a safe bet.
If you pass by a bar and see a drunk stagger on to the street, that person might be saved. The picture perfect person you have seen in church for thirty years might be lost. You do not know. Now, over time, observed, our guesses become more accurate I would say. Chances are the drunk you saw you have no idea what is going on in his life at that instant in time, or what his past history is in relation to Jesus Christ.
I wont mention the name or denomination here in Paducah, but a while back, an ordained pastor was calling on people to pray for various leaders throughout our community that they might be saved. Now, some of them may very well have needed this, but for this person to presume to know the mind of God, I do believe is a little self-serving, and quite irritating to ponder.
We are called on to spread the Gospel, not to play a guessing game about other's salvation. To recall an idea out of Luke, if Hitler is in Heaven, and Mother Teresa in hell, what is that to you. Spread the love of the Gospel, and do what God has in mind for your life. Of course, I do believe over time, we do get a good idea, because by their fruits you shall know them, to produce the qualities in Galatians 5:22.
