    That's a good question.

What would be the consequences of that, DHK?

    Me2,

Amen, I hear what your saying, not a problem, I'm not easily offended so don't worry about me taking you wrong I didn't (not in a personal way) I just couldn't understand through how you were expressing yourself what you were trying to say. I'm still getting to know you and learning how to read you, sometimes its harder on forums because you can't hear the person. In places such as these its easy to misread the person, but I've found if I simply ask I get better clarity. Thanks for clearing that up for me I appreciate it. [IMG]

Most of your time? Maybe you'd even want to spend all of your available time doing that!

I guess it's a bit of a personal question...so you don't have to answer it here; but I was wonder, so, do you spend all your available time doing that?

People who believe hell is like that, well, I think they spend a surprising amount of time doing things like watching TV, actually.

But then, maybe TV watching time isn't supposed to count as 'available' time...

I know, I'm pointing fingers...I'm just trying to make people think.

After all, why would any Christian who believes that hell is eternal torment, work any less hard to save people from it, than the firemen who were on the site of the World Trade Center 9/11, worked to rescue people from the collapsed buildings?

Well, unless the Christians are hyper-Calvinist, I suppose ;)

    Mr. Curtis said...

You didn't miss it. You dismissed it. You told me it said or meant something else. Like satan did with Eve when he hissed..."yea, hath God said..."

Only God Himself in scripture "hisses" (along with people) ;) :D

Zech 10:8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

and in Isaiah 7:18 The Lord hisses for the fly.

Not sure if its the cloven tongue of the Holy Spirit that makes the noise but I thought since your a stickler on doctrine you might be appreciate the correction on the tiniest overlook ;)

I owed you one lol! :D

I haven't read all six pages of posts so if I repeat something, maybe you will profit from repition.

God is kinder than man could ever be. He gave his son as a propitiation for the sins of all men. How much mare could he do? God isn't interested in puppets, those he could just say okay you are saved, no he only wants those who will accept his ransom for sin and serve him willingly. There is vers after verse teaching this. Problem is many don't want to study to learn for themselves, they want to be spoon fed.....ffrom the pulpit and that is why some come here. Rather than prayerfully study God's instruction manual they look to men for answers. Men don't have answers only God does in his word. We have spiritual leaders (pastors) to guide us, but it is up to each of us to study on our own. We are not to depend on the pastor to meet all our spiritual needs. He is to provoke us to study the Lord and see what he has to say to each of us individually.

As for rules, as we study God's, Word the Holy Spirit guides us as to what is pleasing to God, and what is pleasing to the flesh. We deceive ourselves many times into thinking something is God's will while we are only pleasing our own natural desires. Many are like Baalam, and don't pay attention when God is speaking, we are too busy doing our own thing!

In your studies, Have you noticed this verse?

(LUKE 18:31) Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. (KJV)

Would not that mean that everything Daniel being a prophet said, also is fulfilled when Jesus goes up to offer Himself a living Sacrifice?

Daniel said this in Prophecy. Having a seal would that mean the Disciples and Paul might not see this fulfilled, and might speak error?

(DANIEL 9:24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. (KJV)

Making a end of sin and bringing in everlasting righteousness. is not that what Isaiah 53:6 and Job 33:mad:6 also say?

(ISAIAH 53:6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (KJV)

(JOB 33:26) He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. (KJV)

Jesus does come in the Volume of the book, does He not?

Does this verse, look like Jesus in hell set free with all the others?

(ZECHARIAH 9:11) As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. (KJV)

Would this verse be the time Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected?

(HOSEA 6:2) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. (KJV)

I this verse the dead raising with Jesus, Resurrection morning?

(ISAIAH 26:19) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. (KJV)

The 1,000 year reign was the day of the cross. The rest of the dead lived not again till the thousand years was over, that is the SECOND day when they are revived.

Jesus did not turn out the lights when He took everyone out of hell, Hell seen in the 14th Chapter of Isaiah. He did away with hell.

(ISAIAH 14:31) Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times. (KJV)

Where would you consider the Wicked's PLACE to be?

(PSALMS 37:10) For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. (KJV)

    Ken Burton,
seems as if you failed to read the rest of the Bible:

    Revelation 21:7 (KJV)
7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
    Revelation 21:8 (KJV)
8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    Revelation 21:9 (KJV)
9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

The Holy Bible, King James Version

    Revelation 20:10 (KJV)
10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

    Revelation 20:11 (KJV)
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
    Revelation 20:12 (KJV)
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
    Revelation 20:13 (KJV)
13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
    Revelation 20:14 (KJV)
14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
    Revelation 20:15 (KJV)
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

    Ernie.

I knew those verses as I wrote to you. Revelation is the day of the cross seen as 7 time periods. The Lake of fire is to be immersed into God's word like as a fire in Jeremiah 23:29.

In that Lake of fire, or abundance of God's Word dwells something called GRACE. So those that fall short (like all of us) have their part in that Lake of fire or being covered by God's word.

The Overcomers at Smyrna which is the second church in Revelation. The Second step towards God. Steps can be seen by just looking at what the overcomers get. Are not hurt by the Decond death. Every ask yourself why the overcomers at Smyrna are cast into the Lake of fire?

The First step towards God is just to come. They get to eat of the tree of life. Or looking into God's word to see what it says.

The Second step is to Believe. It will not hurt believers to be immersed in God's word. Or the Second death, or the Lake of fire which is all the same thing.

As the steps progress the sixth is made a pillar in the temple of God, the Seventh gets to sit with Jesus in His Throne.

The key to the Steps is "DON"T REPENT", Take the "OR ELSE"

(REVELATION 2:16) Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. (KJV)

    I want the "OR ELSE".

Those not found written in the Lamb's book of Life have yet to be conceived. They will be written in as they are conceived. They are already immersed in God's word or covered by His grace.

Death and hell are immersed in God's word the day of the cross as they are fulfilled. Both cease to exist. We go from life on earth to live in heaven. And hell ended the third day as Jesus took them all out with Him.

God told Jesus, "Don't leave for Home, Without them." [IMG]

The concept that Jesus in hell would ever leave anyone there, goes against all Jesus stood for, and still stands for.

(ZECHARIAH 9:11) As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. (KJV)

(ISAIAH 26:19) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. (KJV)

I find it cute how Paul wrote about Liars when Every man is a liar. They do not inherit the Kingdom of God. Great. Because God laid upon Jesus the iniquity of us all. And He got "liar" from every one of us.

Paul like to jump the fence a lot. He preached we had to live Holy lives, then makes other statements.

(ROMANS 7:15) For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. (KJV)
(ROMANS 7:16) If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. (KJV)
(ROMANS 7:17) Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. (KJV)
(ROMANS 7:18) For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. (KJV)
(ROMANS 7:19) For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. (KJV)

Seeing this should tell you why Paul who wrote so much on the concept of GRACE, Had to be told by God "My Grace is sufficient for you." Because Paul never understood grace completely. And anyone who thinks a loving God has a place for the eternal torture of humans knows grace even less then Paul did.

    Ken,
Isa.5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Woo Hoo, what is Ken trying to promote? This may be a free for all forum but this is blatant heresy!!!! .....and it makes no sense at all.

Please lets close this thread, or start a cult forum.

So Are We Saying On This Memorial Day That The Freedoms We So Richly Enjoy are Meaningless. Or The Deaths Of Our Friends and Relatives Defending Those Freedoms were For Nothing.?... Namely For The Freedom Of Speech.
    Geez. What Happened To Love?

There's a distinct difference between freedom of speech, and yelling "fire" in a crowded theater.

Freedom of speech ends when exercising such freedom endangers lives. For instance, posting the pictures and addresses of abortion doctors as "wanted: dead or alive" posters on the internet could incite some people to adhere to the "dead" part....

Freedom of speech in regards to theology ends when such freedom threatens to endanger people's very souls and eternal salvation....

    Hello Don,
Dont Get Me Wrong On Defending Things That I Dont 100% Comprehend. I Listen To Ken And I Would Like To Hear His Personal Spiritual Viewpoint Sometimes. For His Sake and For Everyone To Hear Once And For All. He Does Have A Very Unique Viewpoint Which I Will Defend His Right To Express.
The Things He Views Is From My Prospective Christian Based. Thats Good Enough For Me.
Who Has The Right To Call Any Brother or Sister in Christ A Heretic..!.God Is All In All. Which Makes A Lot Of Outlandish Thoughts Actually True. We view with our own eyesight what God Wishes Us To See (and Only See). Who Is Actually Reading This. Perhaps the people Who Needs To Read It?..Didnt Jesus Speak In Parables on Purpose?
Heres A Question To You, Or Anyone Reading This....
Who Is The Anti-Christ ?... Let Me Give You A Hint... Theres A Lot Of Them Right Now Reading This!.....What Makes Them An Antichrist and what are the earmarks! heres Another hint
IT AINT KEN...on his last post he mentioned Repent.... ooh another hint...
Heres Another Hint... Carnal, Unforgiving, Not Understanding Who Jesus Christ Actually Is...
Heres Another Hint God Is LOVE....Jesus Christ Is Love
How About Another Hint...Disobedient Children...Saved Yes, But Being Disobedient
1 John 4:8 He That Loveth not knoweth not God; For God Is Love

1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is The Son Of God, God Dwelleth in Him; and he in God.
Heres A Secret Don. The Bible Says Jesus..Not Lord Jesus Or Lord Jesus Christ
The dying Man On The Cross.. Confess That You KNOW (Personally) Jesus.
Who He Was And Is.. The Dying Man On The Cross For The Sins Of The World. Period..

1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is Come in the Flesh is of God:
1 John 4:3 And Every Spirit that Confesseth not that Jesus Christ Is Come In The Flesh is not of God: and this is that Spirit of Anti-Christ. Wherof ye Have Heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Notice Who He Mentioned Jesus Christ,..not Lord again Confesseth.. or Acknowledge as Personally Having Relationship. Dying Man On the Cross Ok..Christ High preist who Keeps Forever.. The Priest Who Conveys your Sin Offering and Repentence Before God In Your Stead.. anti-christ are Carnal Christians who Dont Understand personally that God is Love.
So I Say Once Again.. What Right Do We Have To Call A Brother or Sister In Christ A Heretic.
So Can You Call Disobedient Children (In Christ) Antichrists yep...trying to play Christ Their Own Way...
    without love...
Just Stuff to Think on...Whats your opinion?
