    Good Morning:

Papers are all delivered and Brent has gone back to sleep on the couch already.

I am going to lay back down also. 3:00 doesn't agree with me!

CYAL - when I wake up again!

I hope Sue can sleep til 10 a.m. [IMG]

I just was thinking about Christmas and remembered that it's also only 96 days until we announce our next member of the year. Helen, Dr. Bob and dianetavegia cannot run again but everyone else should put on their best smiles. [IMG]

LOTS of work to do today so I'll pop in and out. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Share each other's troubles and problems, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone in need, you are only fooling yourself. You are really a nobody.

Be sure to do what you should, for then you will enjoy the personal satisfaction of having done your work well, and you won't need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct. Galatians 6:2-5

Boy Howdy and blessed Fall Saturday (or Spring for those down under). I am heading to our church camp in a few minutes for a board meeting (we have 6 churches that cooperate and run a small ifb camp), then some work.

As I am "unsteady" (euphemism for "trip over anything") I will volunteer for work in the dining hall, putting away dishes, pans, mopping, etc. All on nice level concrete floor!!

Will check back in late evening. [IMG]

Gracious Dr. Bob! Don't let them have you carry the hot soup tureen! ;)

Hope everyone enjoys their day. I am STILL cleaning. You can imagine what I found down the sofa in our t.v. room and under and behind it were toys, money, pens, cereal (Ty eats his dry), crumbs.... and I clean under there at least once a week! All those kids ;) ;)

Now I know how Dr. Bob feels! I'm talking to myself here. LOL

Gib and his family are facing winds of 115 mph and Jeanne is getting stronger. HOH Nancy is in Fla., near Winter Haven. My mother sold her house in Fla. just before the first one hit.

    Afternoon all:

I had people running in and out all morning, so I didn't get to take a nap until this afternoon. I slept too long and now have a headache! I can't win for losing...

Diane: Please keep your MOY chatter in the Politics Forum... [IMG]

I have inserts to put together (all those ads) for tomorrow's papers, so need to scoot. Brent has challenged me to a game of Donkey Kong, on Super Nintendo, after supper sooo...

I will try to check in before bedtime. [IMG]

Now Sue.... you know I can't run again! LOL. I believe Oct. 1st starts nominations tho. Reminds me of that poem...'Jest 'fore Christmas I'm as Good as I can Be!' ;) ;)

Glad you got rest and hope that headache goes away SOON!

Back home. Beautiful day and I forgot a camera. Aspen a riot of yellow against the hues of green abd bright blue sky.

Good reports from the summer at camp and a couple of hours of work draining pipes, blowing lines, shutting down gas and electric and we were heading home.

And listening to WYOMING BEAT OLE' MISS on the radio. Since we couldn't go to the game, it was fun to car pool with a couple pastors and listen vicariously to the great upset!

Good morning to all my friends!

Worked about 35 hours overtime last week - and I am dragging. That's in addition to my regular 40 hours at straight pay - and about 12 hours traveling from home to work and back.

I plan on staying in the motel my field office is in - until things get a bit slower!

Dan - the tired preacher man!

    Good morning Dan:

You sound like you meet yourself coming and going! I know THAT feeling!

Papers all delivered and I am going to eat a small breakfast and TRY to lay back down for a couple of hours (yeah right!)

I will try to get back online this afternoon.

Gotta put my ham in the oven so it can cook while we're at church.

Morning All. What a night! I had Zombies chasing me and some others all night long. I even awoke and tried to stay awake for a while so it would go away but as soon as I fell back asleep, Zombies again. We had one of those frozen pizzas late last night and indigestion.... so hence the Zombies. LOL

School has already been cancelled for the next two days where Gib lives and they're right in harms way. We should only get some wind of about 40 mph and more rain but not until tomorrow afternoon. Of course, we're all expecting tornado activity.

Well, my boys are fed and I'm going to look over the board really quick while I finish my tea. Hope everyone has a blessed Lord's Day and some well deserved naps!

Blessed Sunday. Not preaching anywhere today, so "visited" my home church! What a joy. Great sermon on preparing for a hurricane (6th in a series on Eph 6 10-12).

Bright sunfilled day. 74F, trees not turning, but bushes and hedges are all blazing red and gold. And the Vikings are winning . . .

The bad winds and rains will hit us tomorrow right during rush hour! Isn't that awful? I keep waiting to hear school has been cancelled for tomorrow.

Gib's under a tornado watch now and schools there are cancelled for the next two days.

Florida looks like a war zone........

Boooooy, back in the "Good ole days" Blackbird and his school mates had to "tough" it out!! Sure, there were no "Snow" days like the Yankees have---but by golly, we knew what to do in case of a Tornado attack!!!! Then when Blackbird graduated from High School he finally figured that the school system had him "hood winked"----the odds were remote to nill that a tornado would actually touch down DIRECTLY over Blackbird's school while Blackbird was there slavin' with that #2 pencil and that Big Chief notebook tablet!! But again, on the bright side----the pencil sharpener was on the opposite side of the room from Blackbird's desk----he didn't havta sharpen his pencils all that often, though!! He always thought that was wasteful and wanted to conserve his pencils in case of an emergencies---which he knew positively would never come!!

Hey everybody! Our girls retreat was great! We had a wonderful time and had some newer girls go with us that we were able to bond with.

We had a great day today. After church we went and ate with some folks from church - they cooked all kinds of Mexican goodies. It was great. No nap, but I DID finish my novel before the piano students came. Then we had good church again tonight. Now I am sitting here enjoying the quiet since all the fam is sleeping. I am finally eating MY supper - fresh green beans and squash! Yummm!

Praying for all who are in the path of the bad weather!

    Good morning all:

I went to bed early last night and awoke just a few minutes ago (thinking it was 5:00)!

I am just a wee bit nervous about taking Brent to Springfield to the doctor this morning and then to Court this afternoon...

I am going to TRY and lay back down for awhile, but usually when I'm up - I'm UP!

I didn't lay back down until around 4:00, but I slept until 7:15.

We are getting ready to head for Springfield. I will check in when I get back and let y'all know the date of Brent's surgery.

Morning all! Sue, I'm sure you'll do fine. I hope you don't have to drive tho! Praying for both needs tho.

Well the winds are at 40 mph and increasing. The rain is just minutes away but none yet. It'll be a nice cool day.

Ty came at 5:30 and was asleep in Mom's arms but I couldn't get back to sleep til after 7 and was awake by 8:15. I stayed up way too late last night ..... a habit I got into when Jim was working til midnight ..... and now I can't get to sleep early until I'm sick with exhaustion.

I'm having one of my anxious times. Dr. gave me Keflex for a skin infection of some sort. I'd call it folliculitis or an infected hair and it's much better after only 2 doses of the Keflex but I already have a stomach ache and antibiotics destroy the good bacteria and cause me to be sick after a few days. So.... I'm eating yogurt and taking 16 chewables of good bacteria a day to try and prevent it BUT... I'll worry the whole 7 days of meds.

Well need to feed the boys and get them dressed for the day. Nick's in the shower since he didn't shower last night and Jim's got to leave in an hour. Ty's watching Thomas the Tank Engine already. He LOVES those movies!

Praying for you Sue and would all pray for this anxiety about my tummy? (I got sick a year ago March after taking 3 different antibiotics for a month for my tooth and ended up dehydrated from diarrhea and in the ER for a $2,000 bill I still can't pay!)

    Diane
