See there, jonmagee! I ain't finished postin' but 5 minutes ago--and bingo!!! Your picture is back!!!!!

But my bloodhound is still barkin'---don't have the culprit "bay'd" up a tree yet--but if you want me too I can call him off the trail---rest my horses a minute--the posse can go ahead and eat um a snack! Gotta have a snack!

I think, although the picture is back--we can still catch the culprit--plenty of daylight left and the trail is still leadin' in this certain direction!

What about it, Sheriff! Do I call my hound off or do we just let the horses rest a minute?? You make the call!!

    Your deputized buddy,
    Blackbird

    "Well, Dad-nabbit, Little Joe!"(jon)

The picture was there just a second ago and now its gone!

Horses are rested, got um all a cool drink from the pond---the posse is gettin' restless but they're anxious for a "dual"--their trigger fingers are all twitchin'--I'm just afraid one of um might get "trigger happy" and the culprit might slip off!

We gotta get this bandit before he goes too far!

    Good morning all.

Jon: still no word on your pic?

Sheriff Blackbird: you need to form a posse.

Shelia: maybe you could use your overseas contacts to give us a hand.

Everyone else: spread out and let's canvas the area.

    Sheila,

I found this in a thread posted on June 20:
Someone has been following Katie around from forum to forum and hammering on her.

    Morning All;

I am going to call Preacher in a little while and find out what happened last night with our missionaries. I don't want to call him too early because I am sure he was up most of the night praying for them.

Thanks for all your prayers. I will post as soon as I find out anything.

    Blessings,
    Sue

Gib--get your "pistola"--boy, you are part of Blackbird's posse---here's my plan---we steer around the "hot spots" and spearhead into the certain direction---like General Patton---"Never mind the flanks!"

Now, your horse is over here---quarterhorse--3 years old--should be good for about 10 days! Then we'll all hav'ta get fresh horses if we ain't stumbled across anybody by then!

Kiss your wife good bye---grab you a can or two of beans and weanie's and get on your horse--the bloodhound in hot on a trail!

Posse leader Blackbird--in behalf of jonmagee's picture!!

Dan Todd--it ain't too late to be deputized--give Jan a bye-bye kiss, son and lets ride!!

    UPDATE ON MISSIONARIES

The missionaries names are Stencas. There is a mother, father, their married son, his wife, their grandchildren, and several church members in the compound. I believe the location is Nigeria; but I could be mistaken about that.

I talked to the Assoc. Pastor this morning and he has had no word today and has not been able to contact them by phone.

It does not sound good, but please continue to pray for these missionaries until I have something definite to tell you. I will post here the minute I have any news.

Thank you for all your prayers!
    Sue

Jon: Your picture is back! Yippeeeeee

Blackbird: Call off the posse now!

Sheila: Tell Scotland Yard it was all a big mistake...

Gib: Some people just like pie better than cake...me? I can eat both at the same time!

    Dan: Thanks for this.

Everyone: We are all saddened by the missing posters. Let's band together and try to keep the Coffee Shop going until they get back. [IMG]

    Blessings,
    Sue

    Sheila,
This crime calls for the services of Britian's Sherlock Holmes!

But he'll have to know that Blackbird is in charge of the investigation--I'll fill him in when he gets here! There's a waterin' hole on up ahead where I'll rest the horses(the men don't need rest--they're all rough and tough, seasoned professionals trained by Blackbird himself!!) I'll wait on Mister Holmes there at the water hole!

Talk to ya later and thanks for bringing in overseas help! Blackbird is gonna need all the help he can get--but down deep inside he knows when the case is solved--he'll(Blackbird) will be an instant hero!!! People will love him better after all this mess is over with!!

Sue, what do you mean, call the Posse off??? I've done called the men away from their wives and done spent a pocketbook full of money tryin' to get Sherlock Holmes in on the case--he ain't gonna be too happy--and I'll just have to remind him about me holdin' out a "retainer" on him till the job is finished!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

Just put Sherlock on 'hold'. Jon's pic is back, but we never know who's next in line for the disappearing photo. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!

Morning all! [IMG] Sue, Blackbird, anyone else!

Sue, I will pray for the missionaries and for their protection. And for God to bring comfort to the hearts of those who are worried about them.

I too am also praying about all of those who are absent from the board. I pray that God will mend hearts and help bring reconciliation back to those who are hurting or broken. Breaks my heart to see all this happen. [IMG] We all need to lift up this board and the people in it daily in prayer!

Looks like Sherrie was right about those pine trees. My husbands allergies are way out of control and my eyes have been hurting and swollen, ( That's how my eyes feel) and my sinuses feel like they are going to explode. And we both have major headaches. We have about three more pine trees to cut down and one huge maple yet to go.

FYG: Will be praying that you both get better once the trees are gone!

We had a special blessing at church last night. One of the young men from our church just arrived back from the front lines in Iraq. He gave a testimony and said he saw a lot of things he would rather not have seen.

"People were getting killed all around me, but God kept me safe...I could feel the prayers from back home."

    Folks.....PRAYER WORKS!

Sue are you talking about the Stensas? I've been sick and haven't made it to church in the last couple of weeks. Please post the details. I'm wondering if it's the same family. Nigeria...that souds awfully familiar.

    Thanks,
    Charlotte
