Were there any French people in the towers on 9/11? I'm not so much angered by their move on the statue. But the plaque, that is a stupid move.

Many, I am sure. And let's not forget that this was
not done by all of France or all French people.

I know that there are many countries that don't see the US as very correct at the moment. But this article pertains to what the French are doing in France. They have not only "burnt" the Statue of Liberty, they are showing they no longer are our allies. That statue has alot of implications as it prowdly stands in the bay in New York. It has represented our ties with France, as the gift has been stated by them. To burn it is to tear down any ties with us. This is something that sends a message to us, the US.

But to destroy a memorial of what happened to every country, including themselves is...is...I can't find any words to express the disgust I feel by this action. They have become the new definition for PATHETIC.

That kind of behavior doesn't suprise me one bit. Many (but not all) Europeans are so wrapped up in sin and anti-Americanism that they often get cought up in behavior that only shames their nation and demoralizes all humanity.
Don't get me wrong some Americans are just as bad if not worse, but Europeans as a whole are- well, to put it frankly complete idiots...

BUT... They still want to be sure to get their share of the post-war Iraqi contracts.

We should recognise that the French Government who gave the U.S the Statue of Liberty, was a vastly different on than the Government of France today.

The Government of France Relentlessly tested Nuclear weapons in the South Pacific, making many enemys in the process, now they are making enimies in the Northern Hemisphere also, as well as being given a thrashing by the Muslims on the Ivory Coast.

It will be interesting to see where the next step is to for the French Government.

I don't remember seeing the French make such a stand when the towers went down.

I don't remember seeing all the peace protesters marching against terrorism when the towers went down.

I don't remember hollywood protesting against the torrist war against America after the towers went down.

I don't remember all the countries including the Mustlim countries protesting against the terrorist attacks on America when the towers burned down.

So why are they all protesting now?

Just a side note. Did not many of the Palestinians go out in the streets and cheer when the twin towers fell?

The desecration of the memorial is despicable, but it is also happening in our own country, if memory serves.

Maybe we should keep track of who our friends are and who are supporters of our enemies.

    God bless.

"men love darkness rather than light"

I know this is a little far to stretch this verse in John 1, but bear with me... I see it as America being the sole last root of light to this lost and dying world, although we are getting worse and worse each day America still stands for what is right, and the fact of the matter is that very few peoples of the world do today; As a result they are bitter enemies of America.
