HELP WITH EVANGILISM

    Does anyone know of any good movies/playes for an outrech that we can show in the church. Directed toward the lost. I have heard of a play that the church it self puts on HEAVENS GATE/HELLS FIRE??? It's suppose to be really hard hitting. we go door to door with the Jesus video and that been good. Any help appreciated

    I am not sure about movies, if you don't mind traveling, the Passion Play is good in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. There is also this really great book that I use for evangelism. It is called the Bible. That would be a really great start when presenting the Gospel to someone would be to go straight to the Gospel itself.

    What Im looking for is something to bring to my church as a neighborehood outreach. Years ago my church in Utah presented a play by Liberty University about the judgement day, it was very effective in reaching the lost. It was a way to invite friends who maybe wouldn't go to church on Sunday. Thanks for the big help about using Gods word but thats a no brainer

    Yes, Bob,

    That is so true. It is such a no-brainer and so simple, and yet, so seldomly used by modern day Christians in our churches today when searching for another worldly gimmick to present the gospel. What a shame.

    It's not a worldly gimmick there has allways been ways to reach out to the lost. Tent revivals open air preching Billy Graham crusades there are some good preachers that use the television to get the message out to the world. I believe any way to get the message to the world That Jesus is the way the truth and the life He is the only way to heaven is okay as long as we remain faithfull to Gods Word and we don't comprimize to the ways of the world if you feel showing a move is wrong to bad for you. The Jesus video has led thousands to the world. All I asked is for some ideas if you don't agree with what i'm doing fine go to another thread. You know I read peoples comments and put downs of other Christians thoughts and I believe there is a time for correcting other Christians in love and we do need to be seperate from the world. But you know the biggest way I see Christians just like the world is there is no love 1 Cor 13 we are just as mean and negative as the world.

    My brother's church did "Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames" several years ago. I have the video, and it is a very powerful gospel presentation. They did it for 3 nights and their church was full all 3 nights with many decisions for Christ.

    "The Gospel of John" is available on DVD. It is 3 hours, and people I know who have seen it say it is very good. All the dialogue is word-for-word right out of the Bible.

    Do you know how I can get hold of any of these. I have heard Heaven's Gate's and Hell's Flame is very powerfull. I'll check via search engine I think I put in the wrong name for Heaven's Gate. Thanks for your help.

    good try. Sadly it has been decided that we must do something to get the people in, then entertain them, then get them to make a decision.
    as our evangelism becomes more decision driven then marketing becomes more and more important.

    ironically the best thing that ever happened to me and my friends was the Firm Foundations Bible Study. Going through the Scriptures from the beginning, focusing on God all the way through.
