Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

I see this verse used over and over by KJBo's when others do not accept their belief that anything but the KJB is akin to fellowship with Satan.
Using these violent and degrading ideas they then throw in scripture in an attempt to call anyone that disagrees with them with vile, filthy, violent animals not worthy of conversation about biblical doctrine.

This is in effect saying "God's word contained in anything but the KJB is not holy, is not light, and if you use it you are associating with Satan and you are a filthy animal unworthy of conversation with me, the one who brings you holy and pure doctrine".

It's disgusting. It's vile. It's wrong. It's divisive. It's crudely putting yourself above others, it's violating every other verse contained in that chapter about judging the hearts of others and about not seeing the beam in your own eye.

It's effectively helping Satan out in his attempts to make Christianity a heavy burden and divide those who would stand together for the name of Christ.

Gina, I think it makes some of them feel proudly self-righteous, like a Pharisee.

Gina, you've prolly seen our repeated requests to the Onlyists tp please provide PROOF that there's any truth to their doctrine, and our asking them by whose authority they proclaim a doctrine about Scripture that's not mentioned nor even hinted at in Scripture. And you've seen their "answers"-spin at best, outright evasion at worst. The Onlyists simply cannot substantiate their doctrine.

It mystifies me why well-meaning, sincere, intelligent Christians would take up a doctrine that's obviously phony as a deed to the Brooklyn Bridge, but the fact is, they've done it, and it's our job as Christians who know better to point out this error and especially to keep new Christians from falling for it. While this myth may not send anyone to hell directly, it DOES cause division in churches, and can limit the effectiveness and scope of one's ability to evangelize the lost. Since we KNOW, without a doubt, that KJVO is a false doctrine,it's not just a "job", but a Christian DUTY to fight it as we do any other false doctrines.

I don't see using the KJV only as bad in and of itself. It's what I choose and believe should be highly encouraged among English speaking people for it's accuracy at this point in time. It might not be "doctrine", but it's good common sense. It would be nice if words that are now considered crude would be changed though!

What isn't good common sense is saying it is a must in order to be a Christian, or likening others who don't see it as such to pigs who refuse to accept the truth of bible doctrines. It's ridiculous, and I think everyone here doing it should get on their knees and repent, then get on their computers and apologize to everyone here that they've treated like dirt and called names over this issue.

I never said you did because they are adhering to mv's. I said you called others swine, and that a lot of KJVO's say this too.
Whatever your reasoning, it doesn't justify calling other Christians swine and you did just that.

I know what you presumed and now there are two threads with your accusations as if i did. I didn't. Your reasoning doesn't justify you saying anyone needs to repent of what they HAVEN'T done.
