Abortion--he has consistently nominated conservative judges, several of which have been held up by the Democratic minority in the Senate (where the archaic rules require 60 votes to move on a nomination).

He has spoken out against homosexual marriage and in favor of a national marriage amendment.

Bush is against abortion, gay marriage, gays in the military, oppressive taxation, and he is for the free expression of religion in the public square, as we had from our inception until the Courts began to restrict our freedoms in 1947. Kerry holds the opposite views in every case.
</font>
The Vice President has a lesbian daughter and perhaps because of that he says that the question of same sex marriage should be left up to the states. In other words, he's against a federal pro-marriage act. Do you support his position?

Here in the USA being a Christian and being a Left Wing/Democrat I consider being an oximoron!
How can a person be pro-choice and a Christian?
When I became a Christian I changed the way I thought, I also changed the way I voted. Come to think about it I voted Republican in 1988, a full year before I became a Christian! I found out that Democrats were pro-choice, which meant they allowed babies in the womb to be killed on demand.
I figured it out, murder is murder, inside or outside of the mother's womb! Plus I believe in the states to have more control, and the federal to have less control! But it was the abortion issue that really got me thinking of changing my political affiliation

Question: if the Democrats were pro-life and anti-gay-marriage, but still pro-union and pro-labour, would you as Christians consider it acceptable to vote for them?

Yours in Christ

Pro-union and pro-labor = mammon, voting your pocketbook (not that the extremely wealthy liberal politicians who espouse these positions will really help the working man).

Pro-life, anti-gay-marriage = righteousness.

Serve God or Mammon--please choose one.

No, and he is the VICE president, unlikely to ever be president or to run for the office.

Pro-abortion = pro-murder

Pro-Gay-Right = challenging the very nature of God's creation

Pro-business = The Book of Proverbs, Eph 6, Col 3, Jesus' many illustrations of good financial stewardship.

Jesus' instructions to charity were NEVER NEVER NEVER addressed to the Government.

God = righteousness

Mammon = legalized theft (socialism)

No, and he is the VICE president, unlikely to ever be president or to run for the office. </font>
Cheney is the man who has welded the power from behind the scenes and will continue to do so. Busah was recruited by Cheney, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz to be a figure head that they can try not to get in the way of their plans for America as supreme ruler of the world.
