    Jason,

You're changing the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like unto corruptible man. Adam and Eve were not created with sin natures. They were created good, but not incorruptible. Jesus was, is, and will always be incorruptible.

And so are we who are partakers of the divine nature.

Why is this even being seriously discussed? I want you to tell me you don't see a direct correlation between these two Scriptures:

Genesis 3:6 - And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit and did eat...

    1 John 2:16 -
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of this world.

According to the definition of sin in James 1:14-15, one's evil lust must conceive and Eve's evil lust was wanting to be like God in knowing good and evil. That's why she saw the tree of knowledge fruit as 'deadly' in Genesis 3:3 yet 'desirable' in Genesis 3:6. God's truth became a lie and Satan's lie became the truth because she wanted to be like God in knowing good and evil.

This is the same lust for evil that drove Jesus Christ to ask God the Father to save him from the cross because if his request had been granted, there would've been no cross to fulfill the Scriptures thus nullifying the deity of YHWH.

    Hope this helps
