    The hurt and loss of his expectations in going to Disney. Receive doesn't mean physical. I can receive an STD from my wife, but the hurt that she was unfaithful would be far worse than the physical. (she has never been unfaithful, btw :D )

    Why would he expect to go to Disney if he wasn't living up to his end of the bargain? But maybe he doesn't like Disney enough to want to live up to his end of the bargain. Maybe he would rather just sit out Disney, and do his own thing right now. Perhaps 'receiving' the loss of his reward is really no motivation whatsoever.

    The same reason many Christians think they can live any old way they want and will still rule and reign with Christ.

    What kid in their right mind deliberately "sit out" Disney? What Christian (carnal or otherwise) deliberately wants to "sit out" the MK?

    Can you show me, in the bible, Christians who enter the kingdom but do not reign? Or a picture of such in the old testament?

    What is the right mind? It is the spiritual mind.

    Romans 8:6-7
    6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
    7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

    One need not deliberately decide to sit out the kingdom, just be unwilling to give up one's sin. You can't keep them both.

    Who would Christians reign over? You cannot have a kingdom composed of only kings.

    There are going to be natural people in the kingdom who will be born, live and die under the reign of Jesus Christ. Entering the kingdom is reigning. There are no crownless Christians hanging out on the street corners.

    Can you show me, in the bible, Scripture that supports what you have stated here? Can you show Scripture that shows Christians going to hell for a thousand years?

    BTW, I am not getting combative here, I am asking sincere questions. Afterall, you have asked for Biblical proof for the alternate views.

    You'll have to forgive me, I'm a little slow today due to lack of sleep. Are you asking for a verse that specifically shows Christians go to hell for a thousand years? I don't think there is one single verse that spells it out so clearly. But that Christians are in danger of hell is, I believe, abundantly presented. Almost every verse that warns of judgment is directed at believers. Most will interpret them to be speaking to false professors or unbelievers, mainly based on the faulty assumption that believers cannot be judged for their sins. But almost always you can go back to the beginning of these warnings and find that Jesus is directly addressing His disciples. Classic example would be the sermon on the mount. Matthew 24 and 25 contain explicit teachings of severe punishment for those who are not keeping the commandments, looking for their Lord's return with hopeful expectation.

    Matthew 24:48-51
    48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
    49 And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
    50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
    51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Matthew 25:26-30
    26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strewed:
    27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
    28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
    29 For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
    30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Not to mention the sheep and goats in the latter half of chapter 25. I have no reason not to believe that the goats are disobedient Christians.

    How can a believer be "wicked" and "evil" and at the same time righteous? There are plenty of passages showing Christians DOING evil...but not being referred to as such.

    Don't confuse imputed righteousness, which is Christ's righteousness given to you by faith,
    Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

    with practical righteousness, which is you walking in righteousness.
    1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
