Faith-Based Killing?

    "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" video game is being criticized for intolerance and violence.

    While I disagree with pre-trib theology and I don't beleve in the Rapture (I'm amillenial), what I find especially disturbing is that when a player kills an unbeliever, his "spirit score" drops, but all the player can do is click the pray button to raise the spirit points again, so you can go out and kill and repeat the process. That is not a Chrsitian value.

    You to young to remember "Kill A Commie For Christ?"

    "Kill them all and let God sort them out," actually a misquotation from the Bible (The Lord knows his own) first made by a Catholic bishop as he sent his troops to destroy an Anabaptist town.

    Yeah, but this game advocates converting or killing anyone who is not a Christian, not just the commies.

    I saw an interview with one of the designers of this game. He made it pretty clear that this has nothing to do with Christianity or the Bible, rather with entertainment and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    This is a game, not a tool for religious instruction. ABCNews is just having a meltdown because of the post-Rapture theme involved.

    All these threads - by mostly "liberal" Americans - on this one game? What about "Quest for Bush"?
