Whats the fastest you have read through the Bible ? .PLEASES don;t say .Its not how fast you read it but what you get from it even if its a verse .I agree ! But thats not my question .Its how fast ?I read through it once a year but then I take a book and study it verse by verse and that may take me a year or two .

the fastest was when I was in college and we had to read the OT during first semester and the NT during second semester.

I still got alot out of it, but I prefer a less frenzied pace now.

The fastest that I have read through the Bible is when I was in college also. We studied the Old Testament the fall semester and then the New Testament in the Spring Semester.

We just completed a Sunday night Journey through the Bible at our church and it took us over a year and a half.

One year is the fastest so far. I was just looking at a special printing of the NIV Bible that is marked for a 90 day plan (12 pages per day). I intend to read through again this coming year, but will probably try the plan that takes you through the OT once and the NT twice - that is a 12 month plan too. Bruce

5 chapters a day is all it takes to read the Bible from cover to cover in 1 year.People will sit down and read a novel in 1-3 days and think nothing of it.The best I ever did was 50 chapters a day for several years in a row.I also did slower work in Bible study, lots of ways to do it,book by book,topically,100 most important chapters, study prophecy(Bible is 1/3 prophecy),or study doctrine.

The fastest for me has been one year. I have done that the last 4-5 years in a row.

However, I think this next year instead of doing it that way, I am going to take an OT book and a NT book and read a chapter from each book everyday. Plus I read 5 Psalms each day.
