Illegal alien protestors demand fast track to U.S. citizenship
    Chad Groening OneNewsNow.comMay 3, 2007 IllegalAliensWaitingForWork.jpg

An immigration reform activist says she can't comprehend the arrogance of thousands of illegal aliens who blatantly marched in rallies across America this week in efforts to compel lawmakers to move forward with legislation aimed at giving amnesty and citizenship to an estimated 12 million illegal aliens across the country.

Susan Tully, national field director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), says she is amazed at these protestors' attitude. "I just don't think we can comprehend the arrogance and the 'in-your-face-ness' of the illegal alien population," she contends. "It should be a really good indication that, if they think they're so deserving from doing absolutely nothing, what kind of American citizens would they make anyway."

Tully feels these illegal alien demonstrators are exhibiting tremendous gall. "I think the thing that continues to amaze me and probably most Americans is the arrogance ... of the illegal aliens from Latin America who march in our streets, waving the flags of their homelands, so you know where the allegiance is -- and yet making demands of America, that they be treated the same as American citizens," she says.

    Illegal Aliens and Crime Incidence
Most Americans equate illegal aliens with a higher incidence of crime. Some academic researchers have attempted to prove that is a misimpression. FAIR's new study, Illegal Aliens and Crime Incidence shows that the American public understands the facts better than the academics.

An Immigration Reform Agenda for the 110th Congress
FAIR's new Legislative Agenda lays out the critical reforms to Federal immigration laws and enforcement capabilities needed to redirect U.S. immigration policy and get it back on track.

Illegal Aliens Cost New Jersey More Than $2.1 Billion Annually!
This may explain why the state is suffering, as Governor Jon Corzine admitted, "one of the worst tax burdens in the United States." FAIR's new report, The Costs of Illegal Immigration to New Jerseyites analyzes public expenditures for education, medical care, and incarceration for the estimated 372,000 illegal aliens residing in the state. Read the full report here.

There should be no amnesty for illegal aliens and taxpayer money should not be used to support them. GOP presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul is absolutely fantastic on this issue and it's another good reason why conservatives should be supporting his candidacy.

Thousands of illegals all in one place at the same time and nobody thought to bring enough buses to arrest them all? "All's normal, trust us we're Govcorp Inc. you're gonna love the NWO".

The Democrats want them as voters, the labor unions want them as members, the Chamber of Commerce wants them as cheap labor, the Republicans are afraid to offend Hispanics because they may lose their votes to the Democrats who want them as voters, the labor unions...

Yeah but that's just mid level management Ken. They all answer to higher powers if they want to continue to build connections and move up to the "corporate world" in the future.

The United States will never be able to deport the millions of illegal aliens who are here. We need some type of comprehensive plan to deal with them. Of course if we do not do something about our porous borders it will not matter in the long run.

Cut off the money and they will go home on their own.

We have a good sized militarized police state now that habeas corpus has been recinced in the name of "keeping us safe". Why not use it where it will do some good, we gotta pay em anyway?

Would that "comprehensive plan" have say a NAFTA highway and KC Smart Ports in it?

Many would leave no doubt, but corporate America wants cheap labor, and the lobbyists will continue to influence politicians so that this is unlikely to happen.

In addition, if a PG women comes to have her baby in the US, she would have one of two choices:
    1. Put the baby up for (confidential) adoption and then mom goes back to Mexico - with no chance of getting Am Citizenship for herself

    2. Mom and baby go back to Mexico with neither having Am Citizenship

Ken, that just about sums up the whole issue perfectly.

Sure does if one only wants to focus on midlevel management.

Workers sue U.S. factory after immigration raid
    Tue May 15, 2007 5:42PM EDT

    By Jason Szep

    EXCERPT

BOSTON (Reuters) - Workers including 361 illegal immigrants were cheated of hundreds of thousands of dollars in overtime pay at a factory at the center of a high-profile raid in Massachusetts, according to a lawsuit filed on Tuesday.

The class-action lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Boston on behalf of 500 workers, follows a raid by federal immigration agents on March 6 that drew criticism of the Bush administration's immigration policy and brought national attention to the perils facing undocumented workers.

Dozens of children were stranded when 361 workers at Michael Bianco Inc., which makes equipment and apparel for the U.S. military, were arrested by federal agents in New Bedford, a port city about 55 miles south of Boston.

Many of the immigrants were initially held at a decommissioned Army base in Massachusetts before being flown to Texas.
