If Huckabee Loses in South Carolina...

If Huckabee cannot win in SC I would think he is in trouble and McCain will be the frontrunner. Also, if McCain can win Florida, he should get the nomination IMO.

If Huckabee wins SC it will remain a wide open race.

That is one of the few polls that has Huckabee winning.

Realclear politics has the avereage of polls and it has:

McCain: 27.1

Huckabee: 25.3

 

Yes, but ARG is the latest one. (01/18/08). Other polls are taken on 1/16 to 1/17.

Huckabee is definitely surging. This maybe because of yesterday's endorsement of Lt. Gov. Bauer.

 

Is this the same type of polls that had Obama winning in NH by 13 points?!?

Well, No need to argue about polls. We will know it shortly. I just pointed out that Huckabee is surging based on the recent polls. Other recent polls also have the same trend with Huckabee is surging.

One for Huckabee...
Two for a tie.....
Four for McCain.......

They average them all and have McCain ahead.


I don't care either way, I don't want either of them to win. I am only saying it's funny that people will post poll data when it fits, but when it don't then polls are nothing more than a waste of time...

If you look at the trend of the other polls. You will find that the trend is: Huckabee is surging. Other poll shows Huckabee is tied or just closed behind Mccain.

If you compared this polls with the previous poll results even with the same polling agency, you will notice that Huckabee's trend is upward. That's why in my opinion I think Huckabee is going to win. I may be wrong but that's the way I see it. And since I support Huckabee so I'm just trying to be optimistic.

Now if you don't agree with me that's fine. We will know the results soon. :thumbs:

 

We will only know for sure when the day is over (not to state the obvious). Personally, I think it could go either way.

 

Since you were wrong in your prediction about Huckabee not to win in Iowa, I got the feeling that you will be wrong again in this.

I would not give specific nos. but i predict Huckabee will win in SC. I have to go with the Rasmussen market which shows that Huckabee has more chance of winning than McCain.

I would love to see Thompson win, but it just does not look probable. Even if the polls are off, doubtful they are off that much.

 

No deal . We shall simply see how things play out . McCain is his friend , but goes against too many of Thompson's principles .
