Latest Western fabrication attempts to portray "moderate rebels" locked in combat with hordes of Al Qaeda militants as ploy to justify further arming of terrorists and even direct intervention along Syria's borders.

    < snip >

In an astounding admission, the New York Times confirmed in an April 2013 report that the so-called "Syrian opposition" is entirely run by Al Qaeda and literally states:
Nowhere in rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of.
From the beginning, it was clear to geopolitical analysts that the conflict in Syria was not "pro-democracy" protesters rising up, but rather the fruition of a well-documented conspiracy between the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia to arm and direct sectarian extremists affiliated with Al Qaeda against the Syrian government.

This was documented as early as 2007 - a full 4 years before the 2011 "Arab Spring" would begin - by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh in his New Yorker article titled, ""The Redirection: Is the Administration’s new policy benefiting our enemies in the war on terrorism?" which stated specifically (emphasis added):

The NYT also admits (emphasis added):
Of most concern to the United States is the Nusra Front, whose leader recently confirmed that the group cooperated with Al Qaeda in Iraq and pledged fealty to Al Qaeda’s top leader, Ayman al-Zawahri, Osama bin Laden’s longtime deputy. Nusra has claimed responsibility for a number of suicide bombings and is the group of choice for the foreign jihadis pouring into Syria.
Not only is the Syrian government fighting now openly admitted Al Qaeda terrorists, but terrorists that are not even of Syrian origin.

More outrageous still, is that the New York Times fully admits that the very oil fields the European Union has lifted sanctions on and is now buying oil from in Syria (see BBC's "EU eases Syria oil embargo to help opposition"), are completely controlled by Al Qaeda - meaning the European Union is now intentionally exchanging cash with known international terrorists guilty of horrific atrocities, in exchange for oil. The NYT reports:
Elsewhere, they [al-Nusra] have seized government oil fields, put employees back to work and now profit from the crude they produce.

Where'd ya.hear that Fox News? Who told Fox? An anti Assad Sunni Muslim living in coventry funded by the EU and another unamed nation and going by the name of the Syrian Observatory For Human Rights maybe? I already posted another thread exposing Fox News "main source" as a fraud. Lol.

Go ahead check out Fox News website. Search this term "Syrian Observatory For Human Rights"

Hundreds of Fox News articles that use this fraudster as a source. Lol! It's to funny! Evidently Fox is either very poor at making sure it's "sources" are legit or it intends to use any "source" that fits their pro war agenda no matter how compromised they are. Which do you think it is? Lol!

    From the first article

Additionally, a new narrative is taking shape as the Syrian government stands poised to restore order across its war-ravaged nation. The West is claiming that the "moderate" fighters it has been sponsoring since 2011 are locked in combat with Al Qaeda terrorists across the country, even after numerous attempts to claim Al Qaeda was not even present inside of Syria, or present but in insignificant numbers.

    And you belive it! Lol

    Who Are The Syrian Moderates?

The forces known as the Free Syrian Army, have 20,000 fighters, and are armed and funded by Qatar, DEBKAfile reported.

[Qatar builds Sunni intervention force of Libyan, Iraqi terrorists against Assad]

Qatar has built up a strong army of hundreds of Wahhabi forces to help overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a new report has revealed.

The Doha-funded army has been mobilized in the form of military battalions and brigades in bases in Syria's northern neighbor, Turkey.
The measure comes after Qatar was also involved in the ousting of former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, according to the report.

The Qatari and Saudi rulers approved the program for the Qatari chief of staff Major General Hamas Ali al-Attiya to join the anti-Assad army for rapid deployment on the Turkish-Syrian border.

According to the report, so far a total number of 2,500 troops have been recruited. The hard core is made up of 1,000 members of the Islamic Fighting Group in Libya, which fought Gaddafi, and 1,000 operatives of the Ansar al-Sunna, the Iraqi Islamists that reportedly carried out 15 coordinated bomb attacks in Baghdad last Thursday.

Qatar has airlifted the 2,500 troops from Libya and Iraq to the southern Turkish town of Antakya in the border province of Hatay.

The top commander of the anti-Syria mission headquartered in Antakya is Abdel Hakim Belhaj, whose militia seized control of the Libyan capital Tripoli in August.

    http://www.presstv.com/detail/218149.html

    Who is Abdel Hakim Belhaj?

Abdel Hakim Belhaj, historic leader of Al Qaeda in Libya, Military Governor of Tripoli, chief of the Free Syrian Army.

These are your so called "moderates" TND. A mixture of Libyan and Iraqi Wahhabist mercenaries financed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and now (openly) by the US.

What do they do in their spare time? Post videos of themselves on youtube with toy guns!

There are no "moderates" in Syria.

Yeah well believing everything said by Fox News or any other corporate news outlet without checking out their stories and sources will do that to a person's brain.

Speaking of Fox News guess who owns 7% of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp?

    Give up?

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. He's Murdoch's second biggest backer. Suppose News Corp (Fox News) is going to report anything that the Saudi Prince doesn't want to be reported? Like the Saudi's ongoing support for Islamic extremists and terrorists in Libya and Syria? No way. Saudi Fox News calls them "activists" or "rebels" or maybe sometimes "opposition forces" never extremists or terrorists.

What happens to reporters that do report on stories that put the Saudi's and their Wahabi mercenaries and proxies in a bad light?

Dale is under mounting pressure for writing this article by third parties. She notified MintPress editors and myself on August 30th and 31st via email and phone call, that third parties were placing immense amounts of pressure on her over the article and were threatening to end her career over it. She went on to tell us that she believes this third party was under pressure from the head of the Saudi Intelligence Prince Bandar himself, who is alleged in the article of supplying the rebels with chemical weapons.

On August 30th, Dale asked MintPress to remove her name completely from the byline because she stated that her career and reputation was at risk. She continued to say that these third parties were demanding her to disassociate herself from the article or these parties would end her career.

Fox News should be called the Saudi Fox in the hen house news network. The only words we'll hear coming from Fox News talking heads about Syria are the words Rupert's Saudi partners put there. Is that "fair and balanced" coverage?

FSA brigade 'joins al-Qaeda group' in Syria

Hundreds of fighters under Free Syrian Army's command have pledged allegiance to al-Nusra Front, reports say.

The Reuters news agency, citing sources inside Syria, also reported that entire units of the FSA had joined Nusra and the ISIS in recent days.

    CONTINUE . . .

    So much for McCain's moderates.
