To have by-laws or not?

    Wouldn't a church jave a Constitution or by laws, to formally define what voting policies are, who membership are, what they do regards paying staff etc?

    A constitution provides the macro view of why a church gathers, bylaws provide the micro view of how they gather.

    Wouldn't a church need to put down on paper how to replace/hire pastors, pay staff, how to pass Budgets , how to excommunicate etc?

    Also the membership needs to be defined. Failure to do so can create huge issues.

    good point!

    Must one be water baptised first, must one attend a given lenght of time, must one take a membership class can they teach etc?

    needs to be defined!
