When you have 4 1/2 minutes to spare, go to www.wayofthemasterradio.com, scroll down until you see "Care for a little guilt, Scarecrow?", and watch the video.....all the way to the end.

I would say he is off to a good start. How does this speak to those who keep saying knowledge of Christ and believing he is real is enough?

I don't like to be cynical, but I have a hard time accepting the veracity of the concluding comment. Up until then I thought it was brilliant.

Interesting video... wonder why it is not in color. and not sure, but looked like the guy was smirking a couple times in the video.

I thought the most was awesome, but then when he said he was an atheist, I could not understand how an atheist would agree to talk about what a christian should believe and do in his or her walk with Christ.

Never met someone who claimed to be an atheist that encouraged christians to follow and believe in the risen Savior.

I've seen this guy somewhere else recently.....I don't remember if it was on another website or on a TV show.....but he does claim to be an atheist.

He doesn't "dislike" Christians, he says he just doesn't believe what we do.

I don't think he trys to encourage anyone to follow and believe in Jesus.....he's just saying that he believes that if someone is going to call themselves a Christian, and if they believe the Bible really is the Word of God, then they should do the things God tells us to do in the Bible.

He's saying that if he were a Christian and if he believed the Bible.....he would have to be out proclaiming the Gospel.....he would have to be warning people of the reality of Hell.

    Well stated Brian,

I have met and known atheist's and the non-Christian people that knew alot about the Bible and how WE as Christian should live and yet their not living for Christ in their life. They see it as a choice, and they don't condemn people for living for Christ, or people that don't live for Christ.

It's sad though... With all that knowledge in the Bible and Christianity, I hope that the Lord touches his, and all atheist's hearts and leads them to Christ before it's too late.

Thanks for posting the link! I have always liked Way of the Master and they style of getting the word out.

    Jamie

I guess one would expect an atheist to believe that one's salvation is ultimately based on chance and the odds that some Christian will give a lost person a fighting chance. I wonder, however, how many Christians actually believe the same thing. So, what say you? Was your salvation based on chance or on the sovereign power of God which is never failing and always effectual? Or was it based on the good luck that you just happened to have a faithful Christian to share his faith with you and give you a fighting chance?

In other words: Preaching is a waste of time?

My brother recently said, "I don't feel like watering, it's God's job to water". (I guess he should read Genesis again) ... on second thought, if I'm a Calvinist, I would have to believe, if God wanted my brother to water, He would put it into my brother's heart to water.

    Blammo,

It is never a waste of time for Christians to be obedient to the commands of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Do you believe your salvation was based on the chance that some Christian witnessed to you, or do you believe it is totally in the hands of God? What about those who never hear the Word of God or whom have met evil people who claim to be Christians? Did they just have bad luck in the eternal crapshoot of salvation? Is that what salvation is based on? Luck? A fighting chance?

    I don't think so.

Crapshoot or assured in the hands of God? Yes or no.

I answered, BTW, no to your original ignorant tirade.

My salvation is in the hands of God. Just like anyone else who believes.

Blah blah blah "ignorant tirade"

I am glad you agree with me and all five point Calvinists that salvation is not based on a fighting chance, as the atheist seems to believe, but is assured in the sovereign hands of God. Now, I guess I am curious as to what we were disagreeing about and why you seem to have such a juvenile, sarcastic manner of discussing things with me. I looked at your profile and noticed you are not a teenager, but your manner of communication reminds me more of a young teen who doesn't know any better than an adult who is almost middle age. What gives?

    Dear Joseph

I am deeply saddened to hear that you thought I was a sarcasitc teen. Please accept my most sincere apologies. You are clearly not the type of person to take cheap shots at a fellow brother in Christ. Rest assured, I am not only embarrassed, I am terribly ashamed of myself. However, this is not at all true. I hope we can be friends now. You are my hero.

Somewhat, but in no way sincerely,

    Blammo

    Actually,

I believe he was attempting to slander me by implying that I, as a Calvinist, don't believe we should witness and preach the Word. What a shame that he cannot seem to hold a decent conversation with me because of his blind hatred towards those who hold to the Biblical Doctrines of Grace.

This is probably the first truthful thing you have said in this thread. I, in no way, believe that there is a sincere bone in your body. With this fact, you and I are in agreement.

I don't hate you, Joseph. Please do not burn me at the stake. There is no reason for you to fear me.

    Thank you
