The author of the video says "God is imaginary". That is a presupposition and an assertion that he can not prove. His arguments are completely irrational.

This video certainly makes you think about your faith, there is truth to much of what he says.

"Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe". A few of my close friends, whom are unbelievers, are very good people. Moral, honorable, honest etc... yet they can't seem to imagine how there can be a God. So when God shows himself, I believe they will become Christian upon seeing it with their own eyes. I believe God will give them this chance.

Imo, some of my unbelieving friends will be in heaven though most professing Christians and of course, unbelievers will not. No scriptural support, just my two cents worth :)

    God heals all believers.

For some, He does it in this land in which we exist as "strangers and aliens."

Others, He does it when we get home.

    But all Christians are healed.

It is true though. He doesn't heal amputees yet will heal other ailments.

What do I think? They are the same lame arguments I have always heard from atheists. They do not believe in God, so therefore, the problems in the world cannot possibly be due to sin, since there is no God...but then they erect strawmen as to why bad things happen if there is a God.

You should get your friend Lee Strobel's Case for a Creator. The interviews in that book alone would refute that video.

Who says He doesn't heal amputees? This atheist? How does he know every amputee there ever was?

Wouldn't you think you would have heard about it? Maybe read about it in the paper, ran into someone who heard about it, etc..

Maybe someone on the BB has heard of it??????

I have not heard about a Roman soldier's ear

Just because it is not known does not mean it hasn't happened, as the author of the video has stated. Maybe God chose not to broadcast it in today's age. He wants us to come to Him willingly, as contrite sinners, not because we saw a miraculous thing.

The Roman soldier was the one Peter (most likely) swung at in the Garden of Gethsemane after being betrayed by Judas.

I agree with Webdog on this. They're using the same old tired arguments they've used for centuries. More agressive, but same old arguments. They are easily refuted.

God healed every amputee I have ever met. They might not have gotten their limb back, but the bleeding eventually stopped.

yap yap yap ..what's that about

Your contribution was suppose to be along the lines of the discussion. Real life healings, not biblical healings. You switched subjects. FTR, the Lord was not pleased for that stunt of Peter's so there ....:D And...I am not as dumb as you look ha ha (Or I look )

Actually, it was the soldier's servant, Malcus who got his ear cut off by Peter.

First of all, I don't know a Christian who doesn't know about this episode.

Second, it is along the lines of discussion.

Third, it is a real life healing.

Fourth, Peter didn't heal him, God did.
