    I truly hope the Republicans show some back bone and fillibuster. Did this person never hear of the Constitution?

    The GOP doesn't have the votes to stop this "moderate liberal." Unless, of course, they change their position on using a filibuster to block a vote on her. Or is it only wrong when the Democrats threaten to do it?

    We survived Thurgood Marshall and there will never be a bigger activist than he was on the bench so I imagine we will survive Sotomayor. She is only one justice and one vote so the nation is safe.

    There will be no display of courage on the part of Senate Republicans unless God miraculously provides them with the courage to do so. :praying:

    There are at least two with intestinal fortitude [guts is so plebeian], DeMint from my home state and Coburn of Oklahoma.

    Since neither is on the Judiciary committee nothing so far. I simply made the point that they had GUTs, sorry, intestinal fortitude.
