WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE...

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Coke Zero, Pepsi, Sprite, milk, milkshakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Long time no 'see'. :(

I am having serious issues with my health and have not been posting except in the BWPF. I am feeling better and want to get back to my beloved Coffee House as I miss all of my friends who come here.

Please pray for me as I overcome this milady and am able to join you on a daily basis again.

Yes, my name has changed as I'm being blessed with another great grandbaby. :)

    God Bless,
    §ue

Man Sue, you keep multiplying your family, huh? I'll be praying for your health - I know winter is a hard time for you.

Things are good and crazy busy here. It's the weekend of our church drama and it's taking up a TON of time for me. I'm running all of the sounds through the computer so any song or sound effect comes from me. It's been a blast though and a WONDERFUL production. Here's a short promo video we put together from the dress rehearsal:

We're all done tomorrow and after that, it's time to reclaim my house then finish my shopping. I can't believe Christmas is less than 2 weeks away!

Good to hear that your feeling better Sue.

I've been drinking more coffee lately, and for a good reason too.
Last night (or possibly early this morning) the temperature hit minus 46.2 Celsius which is -51 F. The windchill was -59 C. or -74.2! Yep, minus 74.2 Fahrenheit, the coldest place in North America. We were in competition for the coldest place on the planet but a small town in Siberia beat us by two degrees. We are the second coldest place in the world early Sunday morning, but we made it out to church anyway and so did most everyone else.

The weather geeks are threatening us with two more days of this stuff. What did we do? And those in Copenhagen are complaining about "Global Warming"?? They should hold their conference here!
    Well, enough of my rant.
    Have a good day. :)

Greetings....hope all is on the mend Sue. It has been just over a year since I migrated to New Zealand from Australia.

I have been very happy living in a small city or a large town. The church I attend has a strong presence here and makes all things joyful.

Surprisingly difficult to fit in at work which has been very stressful...you know it is time to move on when you start retching entering the building.Sadly, I have never had strong nerves.

I shall be moving from this lovely flat overlooking the beautiful Whanganui River, I am about 3 minutes from the centre of town. I have bought a wee house near the epicentre of my life.

It is raining here, the cats as silly as ever. The fejoias will be coming in shortly...a peculiar fruit much loved here....I prefer it juiced.

Went to a local production of Vivaldi's "Gloria" which was lovely...a little uneven in tone but pretty fine for local musicians and singers.I must attend the Opera next year.....for a rural town the fine arts are very active....

Keep well, and God bless you:1_grouphug:

    Good Morning!

Just popping in for a quick "hello".

Ann: Yes, a new blessed great grandbaby will make his/her debut in June. I'm sure your church drama was a great success!

DHK: I could not survive at -51º! How do you do it? BTW, I believe 'Global Warming' is just Mother Nature having a hot flash... :)

Bri: So sorry to hear you're having to move. My stomach acts up when I'm stressed too, so I can feel your pain, truly. It has done so since I was a child. We all have our weak points.

I have an appointment with a pulmonary specialist Dec. 31st to try and figure out what is triggering these devastating bronchial attacks and exacerbating the COPD. Please pray that we can get this figured out and get the right medication. I have been a hermit for over a year now and it still doesn't keep me healthy. :(

Hopefully, I will see you all tomorrow for a quick 'stop by'. Thank you to everyone who has kept the Coffee House up and running in my absence! :saint:

I brought fresh fruit. Help yourselves.

Things here have been crazy busy. We've been busy with winter humanitarian aid, regular church schedules, homeschooling, wood cutting, yard and garden clean-up, and cookie decorating. Now we're busy trying to solve our chimney issues. Sigh. Pray we can get that resolved, please.

Now I better run. This hair doesn't dye itself ;)

We're having beautiful weather-not too hot and not too cold.
I can't seem to find a reporting job here that works with my schedule, and the ones that do are ones That require too much travel, so still doing the high school thing, which I'd hoped would be temp.

Christmas decorating time is coming, so that should be fun! Can't wait to drive around and see the lights!

DHK - That's COLD!! I've been in -20F and it was when your nostril hairs froze instantly and the seat in my car felt like a brick rather than the soft foam it normally is. LOL Fortunately, we're going to the upper 40s today and it's sunny so I'm HOPING for a good ride. Whirl has been an idiot recently and he tried to buck me off last week. Here's to a safe ride!

    Good Afternoon Everybody,

Good to see you back Sue, hope your health improves, and a cause for the COPD flare-up is found and able to be treated.

It is 35 degrees here. The weatherman says we have a chance of snow flurries that might be mixed with rain. Gonna have to cool down some for it to snow though.

Sure seems strange decorating our new place. We were in our last one for over 30 years, and we have so much more room now then we had.

Brenda wanted a live tree for our first Christmas in the new house. We have a 10' tree now [with 12' ceilings just enough room for a tree topper.]

We've been lucky so far in regards to snowfall. We've got about 1" on the ground here right now. The west part of Michigan got hammered with lake effect snow. Some parts received up to a foot of the white stuff.

Not much going on around here, just daily chores and errands as usual.

I think it will be atleast a few years before I'm a grandma. :) My 19 year old has no prospects and my 17 year old has a boyfriend but is too young to marry. So we have some time.

Today is a day HOME! Woo-hoo!! I'm going to get some cleaning done and invite my dad over for dinner now that I don't have to run out early on Tuesday nights. It's warm here - but the last day it will be for at least a short while. It's almost 50 already!

I left fresh pumpkin muffins on the counter. Enjoy!

Copy that! Our oldest son is 26 and married 2 years when the baby arrives. Our youngest son is 19 with too many prospects!

Our family is small; looking forward to the next generation expanding that # a little.

From minus 50 to plus 30 F. in just two days. That is a change of 80 degrees, and a pleasant one at that. At least now I will be able to go out and shovel the snow off the drive way without freezing my hands.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to whoever is sending us snow.

Up to a foot is forecasted. The only issue is that it could cancel services on Sunday. But we're getting SNOW!!! Woo-hoo!! We're ready. I have plenty of food, just replaced a bald tire (EVERYONE was getting new tires today), have gas and my Christmas shopping is almost done. I'd say I'm about 75-80% done. Woo-hoo!! So bring it on!

A friend living in South Carolina posted on face book that he saw 3 flakes of snow, and then they canceled school.
I assume they got more than three flakes however.

Friends of ours moved to Seattle and two years later, they had 2" of snow and the entire city closed down. Everyone though they were nuts for going out driving in the snow the next day. They knew it was no big deal.

Back in 93 when I lived in bham bama we had a freak blizzard blow through. It started flurrying at 4:30 PM and by the next morining it was darn near my knee caps. All of Bham was shut down for almost two weeks. Southerners know nothing about a snow plow and there was nothing to clear the streets. A lot of people went without elect. for quite a while.

    Blessed Sunday Everyone!

Sue, congrats and prayers are in order for you! Seems like I can remember when you had the number 16 following your name! You have indeed been blessed.

Ann, I got up this morning, turned on the tv which was showing the weather over your parts and immediately wondered if you were enjoying all the white stuff! So how goes it this morning? I'm watching the Falcon/Jets game at the moment and there are piles of snow on the sidelines though no snow seems to be falling.

Hey RevM. I lived through that blizzard too! It was way funny. We are barely 60 miles to the west and slightly north of B'ham and we were out driving around 2 or 3 days later, but we couldn't get into B'ham to go to work! Most of the snow had fallen south and we only had 6 or 7 inches. We haven't had more than a couple of snowfalls since that time. Sorta makes me sad.

Ya'll have a good Sunday. I've left fresh homemade cresent rolls on the counter with a nice variety of jam. Clean up after yourselves. I don't want Sue fussing that there was sticky stuff all over the coffeehouse when she comes in next!
