    As we remember those whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001 - let us also remember the amazing people who survived at ground zero in each of the places those planes hit.

    I have friends who barely made it out of the towers, but they did. I have friends who lost family in there. A friend from New York lost a brother who was one of the firemen. I have a friend whose brother was in the Pentagon when the wall was breached.

    May God bless these people, and wrap His arms around them as the nation honors those who were lost that day. May we all remember to thank God that the count was not the 10,000 plus they anticipated on that day.
