    Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

    We are called as Christians to build each other up in the body of Christ. For this thread choose one person on the board who you come into contact with and write them a short message or prayer to build them up in the body of Christ. Remember that this isn't a necessarily a "self-esteem" thread, but a thread to build each other up. We need everyone's participation so everyone may be built up.

    Thank you for being a part of our board. I remember when you first came on the board as NewBeliever you were full of inspiration, and as you have been on the board growing in Christ you have continued to show compassion and a humorous side. It will be my prayer that you will continue growing in Christ as you dig deeper in the Bible, defending the faith.

    Clint - Thank you for caring for this forum (and others) as I have been able to devote only limited time to the BB recently.

    Now that I have accepted to work for the summer with a local church (without a pastor) I will be able to pull a little more weight.

    But you, friend, are a god-send to our ministry here on the BB.

    This thing is on a roll here!

    Thank you to the webmaster, first of all, for making this available to us all. The time it takes must be incredible.

    Thank you to Clint for being so faithful with the Bible study forum no matter what. (Thank you also to him for helping me re-install my sink drain long distance when I couldn't get it right!)

    Thank you to Barnabas for his never-ending encouragement, kindness, maturity, and wisdom in the Lord.

    Thank you to people like CB above for constantly challenging and making me really study and think.

    But primarily, and I know this is from all of us, really, a grateful heart and thank you to the Lord Jesus Christ for all He has done and is doing for each of us.

    To borrow from Dickens for a moment:

    Webmaster - thank you for providing this Bible discussion forum to us. Without you, we could not be thankful for all the others, and there are many.

    But to single out one for now - Gina. We don't have a lot of interaction, but your posts are always lively, humorous, encouraging and enlightening, and I always enjoy reading them.

    I greatly appreciate your adherence to the Scriptures and clear articulation of them. We have disagreed in the past - especially over disp. - and I apologize for any thoughtless or ugly words which may have come from my keyboard to you. But I greatly respect your adherence to the Scripture alone as final authority, and your stand for the Grace of God.

    Wow, it's not as easy as it sounds to take out a single person, as the combination of characters and personalities make up what the BB is and how we relate to it and vice versa.
    But since Adam threatened to post yet another of our PRIVATE IM conversations if I didn't.... ;)

    This is almost painful..no wait, it IS painful to have to say it out loud!
    Do I REALLY have to admit this? *sigh*
    Dr. Bob Griffin. Yeah, so it's not like we post back and forth to each other every day, or like you never called me a blank page in a theology book (I'm STILL upset that I didn't think of that one myself!) BUT despite the rough shell, when I took a good look I found you were..
    Godly, caring, passionate about the Word, have the nerve to say out loud things I only dare to think, and I know you've got character to be able to continue doing Gods work, teaching, posting/sharing your beliefs, and be a husband and grand daddy on top of any health questions. I've learned from you on a lot more topics than you'd probably think. (I said PROBABLY for a reason [​IMG] )

    I'd first of all like to say that I appreciate everyone who makes up this board. It was a wonderful find for me. I'm new here, and you've all made me think. But, I would have to say that two of you stand out to me:
