    Good point AVL.

    I have heard that Paul would have had to be married to be on the Sanhedrin. I have heard this was the Jewish requirement. I don't know if this is true, I sure would like to know for sure. If anyone knows where this information can be found please post. Or if it is an urban legend, please let us know that also.

    From what a Rabbi told me several years ago, yes, it would have had to have been true. I haven't been able to document that as fact, even from my bro-in-law who is Jewish.
