I guess I am thankful that Salamander doesn't have a sword.... or does he??

The biggest problem that I see is the corrupt Sharia law. God forbid it should make it's way to these shores.

It's sad that we too often take our religious liberties for granted. What would we do if we had to live under Islamic oppression? "Religion" becomes extremely corrupt when God is left out.

Reasons why the Qur'an can't be translated:

    1. Holy words are not open to translation since their god's words are perfect.

    2. Only the original language can convey their god's words properly since that is the language that their god used to communicate his message.

    3. A perfect translation is impossible.

    4. All translations are interpretations; all interpretations are suspect.

    **********************************

Reasons why the the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures can be translated:

    1. God wants his message of salvation proclaimed to the world.

    2. Different languages and translations were used within the Scriptures we hold today.

    3. From Christianity's initiation translation of God’s message into the languages of the people was evident [Pentacost].
