    No.
It is a logical error called 'Non sequitur'.
    Plus probably some other errors.

This logic is also the logic of prejudice.

If he/she has one characteristic like one of the many characteristics of <group name>; then he is one of them.

On earth the Last Trumpet of the Time of the Gentiles will be the First Trumpet of the 70th Week of Daniel.[/i] Are you reading something into Scripture that is not there?

Duh - did you read the tread about OPINION. We are discussing opinions.

Unfortunately I get HIGHLY criticized every time I put my whole logic into a thread AGAIN & AGAIN. If you check my other posts you will find I believe that the Church age ends at the pre-tribulation rapture2 and the Tribulation period Judgements begin at that point. Therefore, the picture of the trumpets announcing an event is about to occur is correct: the Last Trumpet of the Time of the Gentiles will be the First Trumpet of the 70th Week of Daniel. If my OPINION is correct:

Unfortunately most laymen (and all 'God can only use ignorant pastors' believers) don't know:

    1. using the Bible leads from specific cases to a general case.
(a trumpet is blown beginning of an event
    2. That a particular non-biblical or future-biblical event is a member of a specific case is an opinon

    Specific Case:
    Exo 19:16-17 (KJV1611 Edition):
And it came to passe on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thicke cloud vpon the mount, and the voyce of the trumpet exceeding lowd, so that all the people that was in the campe, trembled.
17 And Moses brought foorth the people out of the campe to meete with God, and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

    General Case:
The blowing of a trumpet is used to announce significant events

Prophetic Example, an Opinion of Ed:
On earth the Last Trumpet of the Time of the Gentiles will be the First Trumpet of the 70th Week of Daniel.

Others may have other opinions ...

Problem is, some folks cannot tell the difference between their own OPINION and that which was said on Mt. Sinai by G-d himself.

    Spiritually I am a Jew.
I sure bear the Mark of Abraham on my physical Body.
Why did my Mother have the Mark of Abraham put on my Body.
Abraham, the father of THE FAITH, Did not G'd make some promises to him?
Does G-d ever go back on His promise?
    All Israel shall be saved.

You got one thing right Ed. All Christians are spiritual Jews and are members of the body of Jesus Christ just as Spiritual Israel of the Old Testament are members of the body of Jesus Christ. I am pleased that you have matured to the position of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Baptist Faith and Message adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in Atlanta, Georgia on June 14, 2000 defines the Church as follows:

“The New Testament also speaks of the church as the Body of Christ which includes all the redeemed of all ages, believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.”
