Would VP Pence be a good candidate for POTUS in 2024.
If he was, would you vote for him?

Who else would be a good candidate as a Republican candidate?

Who would be a poor candidate to be a Republican candidate?

This is strictly a political discussion

NOTE: This is a Trump Free thread

Also this is a C vs A free Thread!

I would vote for Pence, yes. However, I don't think Pence would win.

On the ABC special - Mr. Pence stated his family will discuss running for POTUS during the Christmas holidays

I would vote for Pence. Personally, I think he’s the most “presidential” of the candidates. He has a lot of experience. He’s level headed and rarely goes off message. He is conservative to the bones.

I don’t think he’ll get the nomination. He just doesn’t have the charisma the others have. His ties to Trump make him disliked by both Trump supporters and opponents. He wouldn’t be as polarizing as Trump, but not far from it.

DeSantis is the main competitor to Trump. Nikki Haley is good. Mike Pompaeo lost about 80 lbs and looks good for a run. There are others and maybe someone not yet on the radar will grab people’s attention.

    peace to you

I agree he has HAD ties to Trump - but since he stood up to him - and then this ABC news program - Pence has shown he is his own man.

The others you mentioned - are all good candidates - After the first of the year - we will start to see things happen.... Bring on 2024!

But lets keep in mind that the 2024 election will begin no later than Spring of 2023

Poor Republican Candidates (I would vote for Tulsi Gabbard or Jim Webb over these candidates):
Lindsey Graham, Romney, and any Liberal Republican and any Republican of the Chamber of Commerce ilk.
Pence (Poor Republican candidate, but would reluctantly vote for him)

    Good Republican Candidates:
Josh Hawley, DeSantis, Thomas Massie or Rand Paul or any Republican with a spine that will actually do what they say and are more populist than establishment.

I agree Pence is his own man. Perhaps America is ready for someone completely competent but a little dull.

No drama sounds wonderful to me

    peace to you
