My husband and I will celebrate our 25th Anniversary on May 22, 2007. We are starting to talk about where to go and what to do to celebrate.

    Any suggestions?

depends on what yer willing to spend on that trip. I would suggest a cruise on the carribean on a ship that was featuring preaching and good old fashioned gospel singing.

    Moonlight strolls on the deck.

    So beautiful!

Sounds fab!! My husband mentioned a cruise. We have never been on one before, so it would be nice! The preaching and gospel singing would be great. Moonlight strolls sound wonderful.

We are also thinking of England and France. My hubby wants to go to Yellowstone, but I don't think that would be my choice.

    We are in negotiations! [IMG]

We just got back from ours. We had reservations in Cancun, but the resort cancelled those because it was still being rebuilt from one of those little hurricanes. Soooooo we went to Amelia Island Plantation on Amelia Island, FL. We had a great time. Not quite Cancun, but I had the most wonderful company!

Yosemite National Park is a great place to go. If you stay at the Awahnee Hotel it would be a great experience.

We have been there several times and consider it the best place we ahve been.

I second this motion!!! It's absolutely gorgeous. They keep the beach very clean and if you catch it just right...at times you are the only ones on the beach. Very, very romantic! It's also a very historic area. Although, going over the intercoastal waterway is a bit scary for me (I hate bridges)!

Amelia Island is about 30 minutes from me. We go to the beach there frequently. It is very pretty. It is also one of the best places in Florida to collect shark's teeth. We have tons of them.

Cumberland Island in SE Georgia is also an idea.

What about a trip to Greece or the Holy Land?

I'd love to go Greece or the Holy Land!! I think I'm too chicken because of the unrest in the Middle East. Do you think it's safe for tourists?

We've never been on a cruise--I think a Mediterranean Cruise would be awesome!

Amelia Island sounds lovely. Haven't been there, either. Hubby is more into the beach than I am. He would probably love it!

Well, to me a cruise is the only way to go. You unpack once. Your room is cleaned twice a day. Food is ready to eat anytime you want to eat. You can stay on the ship or go on shore excursions. So much to do and see that one can't possible do it all or you and just relax and do nothing. We have always gone on Holland America Line because they keep giving us great incentives to travel with them. I understand that they are a little more expensive than some, but we can depend on their excellent service.

They even have a round the world cruise if you have enough time and aaaaaa money!

It is so much fun planning a trip. Yellowstone also sounds nice to me. I love the mountains!
