I would ask ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, MSNBC, and <shudder> CNN the same question.

 

I will be contacting my representatives about this. If this has been covered up heads should roll even if its the President. My first concern is a cover up to avoid the understanding that our borders should be locked up tight and our military should be placed along our border. We need a fence both north and south. I will even be settled with a tax increase to do it. Just get it done. Gingrich is right. We are now in WW3!

This should have been 2-inch headlines in every newspaper across this nation and headline news on all cable news channels. I do not forget that this horrendous deed occurred well before the "hearings" on Captiol Hill on illegal immigration. Not one peep about this was uttered with all the chest beating and pompous orations during the illegal immigration debates! Not one word was spoken about this and since this was a Congressional Subcommittee hearing THEY ALL HAD TO KNOW ABOUT IT! And This was an ACT OF WAR on our nation! What else will they cover up to protect their global trade agreements, NAFTA, CAFTA, etc. What else are we not being told while they pad their portfolios and smooze their friends and lobbyists to the peril of the electorate whom they are supposed to be serving and what about those sworn oaths they take when they are elected to office, to serve under the US Constitution and defend and protect our borders?

I'm writing everyone I can think of in the media, and I will be writing my elected officials including the President. Thank you for bringing this to our attention on this board. By the time the letter writing campaign gets going and the emails start flying, IT WILL be covered by the media & it WILL be confronted by Congress - the public will demand it!

 

What are the officers' names? What were the circumstances of their deaths? That little blurb isn't much to go on.

That is so vague, I really don't know what happened.

On the Mexican side of the border near Tijuana. (Which is close to San Diego, but not in the U.S.)

They suspect street gangs involved in the drug trade.

I was talking to a friend at work this week who has quite a bit of family on the Mexico side of the border, and he was telling me some horrible stories of how the drug gangs are murdering all sorts of people. The situation is pretty bad in some places, but the violence has been almost completely restricted to the Mexican side. The violence comes from the difficulty the gangs are having getting drugs into the United States.

Yep.

Of course the story is "better" when all the facts aren't reported. Wild fearful spectulation is more appealing to conspiracy theorists than the boring facts.

It would seem that this is a spin on the murder of 3 Mexican cops and a civilian. Unless the San Diego news is hiding their nationality - these were Mexican cops.

I gotta ask, why would reporters twist the truth? One side is lying.

Just do a google (in english). Or do like I do and watch <<despierta america>> - you will get more news, less spin, and alot more comedy than usa american tv. You can also google in spanish (but google doesn't give you the opportunity to switch back easily to english).

There were new attacks against Mexican police. These were in the state of tabasco (in the south), if I remember right.
