50% of Voters Believe Ayers Issue hurt McCain

    I thought the Ayers issue did reflect poorly on McCain and it looks like most americans did too and didn't bite on the bait. Good for them.

    McCain did not flesh-out who Ayers really is.What is really past due is for McCain to tie Obama with Obama as Rush says.

    So 28% equals 50%. I must need to go back to school and get me some of those mad math skills.

    Even if you add in the 15% that said the Ayers issue had no effect you still don't reach the 50% point...:tonofbricks:

    I guess this is the same type of polling that has BHO up by 14 points...

    I suggest you read it again.

    50% said it hurt McCain

    28% said it helped McCain

    15% said it had no effect

    6% said they weren't sure

    Here is the link to the actual question asked and their results including some other questions about the Ayers issue.

    Sorry the only place it says that 50% say it hurt McCain is in the title. I don't see that number explained in the text of the article.

    However, I do see it in the answer to question #2. please forgive me.
