If you are using my example, then all constitutional adherents would be outraged.

So are you for solutions, or for poking sticks in people's eyes ?

It depends on the person and the stick!

Actually, it is sometimes hard not to do things to irritate those who constantly attack someone. I'm not talking about you attacking me, there are two or three others who do it, but not you.

Well there you have it....if you are concerned that McCain looked wooden and did not look at Obama then you should definitly not vote for McCain.

Dragonfly, exactly how did McCain look wooden?

Did you notice how Obama squirmed as if he were a little boy wanting his teacher to let him say something? How disrespectful to McCain and everyone watching!

    Main Entry: wood·en
    Pronunciation: \ˈwu̇-dən\
    Function: adjective
    Date: 1538
1 : made or consisting of wood
    2 : lacking ease or flexibility : awkwardly stiff <a wooden speech> <a wooden performer>
    — wood·en·ly adverb
    — wood·en·ness \-dən-(n)əs\ noun

    I would go with #2.

No, I didn't notice this. I was too busy noticing McCain's wooden appearance.

Oh good grief. Where is your political correctness or does that only apply to those who can be used for your liberal agenda. McCain always looks stiff and awkward because he is crippled. Quite frankly this is in poor taste and one of the lowest things I have ever seen on this board.

I found it funny that Barack got McCain's name wrong at least once. He called him Tom once and I think he confused his name with the moderator Jim another time.

Funny how with you only the things that criticize McCain are in poor taste. Evey negative comment about McCain is seen by you as dealing with his injuries suffered when a POW. How sad. The truth is McCain looks wooden when he speaks. The reason is beside the point, it is just the way it is.

It is evident you dont really pay attention to my posts. That is fine but do not then characterize them all as if you know something about me. The guy's whole body is stiff and crippled. I will add one more time. I do nto support McCain. He holds way to many liberal ideologies. And if you want to have any credibility then false statements about how I see negative comments are not helpful.

Sure that's possible. And it means you didn't watch the whole debate and are therefore unqualified to make the comments you made.

You were wrong. I didn't insinuate anything. I stated the facts. You should speak to things you don't know about. That avoids this whole problem to begin with.

I didn't pass any judgment. I said "If" you watched the debate, then you saw him look at Obama. If you didn't see it, it's because you didn't watch the whole debate. That's not judgment. It's just a fact.

Like so many others here, you get caught in a problem and rather than saying, "I overstated the case," you keep on defending it. Whatever happened to just saying "I messed that one up"?
