Calvinism is not the problem on this board. How Calvnists talk to other people is the problem. For instance this post of your I am quoting. It has done nothing to further the discussion and only works to create a hostile environment.

 

I still want to know the answer. Give me your objections. State anything you feel is in opposition to Scripture.

I don't agree with much of it but it is not the issue people have on this board. It is with calvinists not calvinism.

I would say that problem is with non-calvinists who make comments like you just made. Most are worse. I have seen Rippon quote Calvin, just to be called a semi-idolter, a follower of a demonic man. It wasn't Calvinist who leveled the charges agaisnt Rippon.

You are a new commer on this board. Many of us have been here for years. You are commenting on things you know little of since you have no view of past history. Rippon has posted his share of personal attacks. The history of Calvinists on this board. You should be here for a while ( couple of years) before you wade into what you think you know about this board. Your myopic view is very limited at best.

Actually I have quoted him very rarely. DHK quotes him far more in his rage-filled rants.

No, I was called far worse. RM is suffering from a severe case of forgetfulness.

 

I don't mean to imply you quote him frequently. I have seen it 2-3 times, and then you get attacked for quoting. Yes, I did list some of the more moderate attacks, but seen no need to drag the worst out.

Seriously, some of you people wouldn't give somebody like Franklin Graham or Al Mohler the time of day if they logged on here. It's no wonder there is rarely anybody new joining, if they do they usually don't hang around very long.

 

Should we not teach all that Christ commanded? List 6 verses where Jesus taught evangelism either directly or through His inspired authors. Compare and contrast with the OP.

Matthew 4:19, Matthew 5:11-16, Matthew 10:16-17, Matthew 10:32, Matthew 25:1-13, and Matthew 28:19-20.

There is a lot of sound biblical teaching available, so the petty name calling trash talk often found here may warrant an exist.

Note the lack of much effort to teach what Christ commanded.

There is no controversy between what the Lord Jesus Christ taught and what is stated in the OP.

Perhaps you are merely presenting support for the OP?

 

So far, after all these posts, there seem to be no objections to the six planks.
So, I will conclude that non-Calvinists are in essential agreement with it.

I say raise the Lord! We are all on the same page for once.
