    When I started teaching college, I opted to toss all long ties (they are modernistic and fraught with sexual imagery). Wore only bowties. Argyle sweaters. Coats with patch elbows. Would have smoked a pipe but hey, it was an ifb school.

    A few years after leaving teaching I shifted to "banded collars". Have 8 different ones - white, black, peach, mauve, rose, burnt orange, lavender and a short-sleeved white - and LOVE them.

    The above pix was a wedding. I am 62 (not all that old) and just naturally good-looking. Can hardly wait for tomorrow.

    Get better looking every day . . .

    Regular Baptists would likely wear prunes. Quickest route to, uh, regularity...

    IFB's would do what Southern Baptists do, and wear a fried chicken around their neck.

    However, the chicken would have had to been cooked in 1611.

    (realistically, it could have been cooked as late as 1823...but you'd have to keep that quiet...)
