Actually, I guess it was my idea that backfired. I was vainly trying to help you prove your point by adding a silly comment to a lengthy quote.

    Apologies.

    C4K ;) You did well in helping to make the point mate [IMG] You did very well [IMG] Perhaps you did a little TOO well :eek: ;) :D

    But that's cool, for once I'm just starting the trouble here instead of being in the thick of the action ;) :D

    A short reply. </font>
I know what you mean :( </font>
burns the bum don't it? </font>
would double posting be wrong in this case? </font>
I was sitting in my chair tonight thinking about all the trouble in the world, when a thought hit me: (well, it was about to hit me when my wife slapped me on the back of the head and told me to stop daydreaming and come to bed... [IMG] ). Just then, I saw this post about big posts, which are fully quoted, and a line or two reply...and as I pondered this in the depths of my soul, it made me cry that Christians would be this way to each other. I thought about doing a line or two, but something told me I needed to do a bit more...and just then, I saw a cute bunny rabbit outside my window, and I went to look at it. It ran down the road and as I was chasing it, a car ran over it, and I thought about the verse that talks about the narrow and wide roads, and how one was less taken and making all the difference... ;)

    And, then I knew I just had to respond to your post and share this experience with you, and ask you what you think I should do now. I really is a conundrum as to what I should do...should I bury the rabbit, pray for the poor evil souls who brutalized the rabbits, allow my son to be around them, or what...?

    It is just so sad to see these rabbits chased down and brutally ran over by a car like that. It brings a tear to my eye... [IMG]

    I just wish people were more compassionate to animals which are so pretty, don't you? It is like they don't want them to survive so our little children can enjoy them for future generations. In fact, I just it is a grand conspiracy by the illuminati to deprive humanity of the pleasing astetics of the bunny rabbit. Surely, the end must be near. [IMG]

    I am very afraid of what tommorow brings, aren't you? Speaking of which...
    </font>
You misspelled asthetics.
    </font>
Don't you just hate that. :rolleyes:
    </font>
Almost as made as self-apponited spelling teachers [IMG]
    </font>
Thats why I have speel cheek.

    B-G, have a bit of a look around the BB and you'll see a few examples of what I'm raving on about [IMG] Someone will post a book-size message, then the next person will quote the whole thing and add "Me too" or similar to the end of it [IMG] [IMG] I'll keep my eye out while on the board tonight and will message you if I come across any good examples [IMG]

    Perhaps the trouble is that some people don't know how to select a few lines, highlight, and "copy/paste" to quote the particular point they wish to discuss.

    If you just hit the "quote" icon for any given reply, the ENTIRE message is quoted.

    I would like to think that it's a lack of knowledge, and not just disregard of common sense!
