    Well, like I said......I've been a Christian for over 50 years, and I've never even once heard anyone claim that.

    I will be the first then to claim that when I was a "Moderate" Evangelical (i.e. Liberal Christian), I assumed the words of Jesus carried more weight.

    Well, you're the first person I've heard say that. Not to insult you, but anyone that thinks that is just Biblically ignorant. Not stupid....ignorant, meaning unaware.

    No insult taken, I was a Liberal Christian back then. That said, I found that mistake about the Words of Jesus and/or God the Father sometimes surfaces in Liberal Christian circles.

    I think many see the red letters of Jesus as being "more inspired"

    (I "think" ) <--------exactly. That's what you "think". In my experience, I KNOW I've never heard anyone say they believe that. Not ever. :)
