    You have done your homework. The four "Gospels" differ among themselves in many places. John and Mark don't have the event of the "Lord's prayer" at all.
    The explanation is easy-all were written by different men.

    Hi Brother Mexdeaf,

    Thanks for your comments. I realize my posts are not always popular and can invite some severe criticisms. Such comes with the territory of discussion boards, though. I try to consider the value of others' criticisms and am open to change and adjustment of my views, so long as the criticisms are valid and the opposing viewpoint is thought to explain all the evidence better.
