    Prove they aren't.:wavey:

Actually, I guess I should have worded it better, I support biblical treatment of women, respect is due, I'm very glad American women enjoy the lifestyles they can achieve. I have to say equal pay is a good thing, but I'm still against women in combat situations, and believe the Old Testament supports this position. I would never say women should be at home all the time, and left a sermon once, when the guest preacher said "...the only thing a woman should start is a washing machine..."

But like I said before, I'm quite sure there is 100% sexual equality in hell. Islam is Islam's problem. Not it's treatment of women, or animals, or each other, for that matter. Telling a Muslim God respects their faith, that's playing games with people's souls. Telling people this woman God respects her work is completely unscriptual.

I'm certain there is sexual equality in Heaven, Curtis.

All that aside, no one shold take this one person as representsative of an entire cause.

Yeah, the great Ronald Reagan had words to that effect, as well.

I posted a thread about this woman a year ago, or so, called her courageous, which she is, but she is mostly lost. My words reflected that then, I believe.

The fallacy in your presentation, aslanspal, is your belief that there is a "moderate" wing among Muslims. All Muslims believe that the bible is corrupt, that it was replaced by a superior document, the Koran, that the Hadith contains Muhammad's original thought and instructions, and that all Muslims are bound, rigidly, to the contents of each. For example, from the Koran:

Surah 5:51 O you who believe! Take not the Jews and Christians for your friends!

Surah 9:5 Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them; seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them!

This is what they are to do when they receive the message to overthrow the government of the countries they live in. It is a definite and continuing switch from Muhammad's earlier mandate to trust "the people of the Book," to be kind to the Jews. When the latter were not submissive, Muhammad declared jihad. He instructed Islamists to convert nonbelievers to Islam by force. To do otherwise would be to defy Islam! Jihad continues today.

Go to your Muslim friends today. Ask them:

    1. Did Muhammad teach absolute truth?
    2. Does Israel have the right to exist in the Middle East?
    3. Is it okay for you to establish a true and lasting friendship with a Jew?
    A Christian?
    4. If you marry a Jew or Christian, must she convert to Islam?
    5. Do you support Shari law?
    6. Define "Hudna" and its purpose. Is it binding on all parties?
    7. Is lying acceptable if it advances the cause of Islam?
