A Must on the Pastorals

Pastors,

If you don't have William Mounce's commentary on the Pastorals in the WBC series, please get it.

Right now, I'm teaching 1 Timothy and of the several commentaries on the pastorals I have, this one is the best.

A caveat: a working knowledge of NT Greek is in order, but I think if you don't know much Greek you can still benefit from it.

Philip Towner's recent commentary in the NICNT series is good, but he's Egalitarian, while Mounce is Complementarian.
