A Not too PC Christmas to You!

I found the following poem quite interesting, and hope many of you do too!

Twas months before Christmas,
When all through our land,

Not a Christian was praying,
Nor taking a stand.

The PC Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas - to my dismay.

The children were told by their schools don't sing
About the Shepherds and Angels and things.

Christmas traditions hurt feelings of others per se ....
Besides, December 25th is a mere 'Holiday'.

Yet shoppers were ready with cash, checks in hand ...
Just, pushing and shoving to buy all they can!

CDs from Taylor, anb brand new I-Pod
Everything's changing, which I find sad and odd!

Retailers promoted, Ramadan and Kwanzaa ...
With hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.

At Target, the trees were hung upside down,
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was nowhere to be found.

At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears;
The words Merry Christmas won't reach your ears.

Inclusive, diverse and sensitivity,
Are words they use now, to intimidate me?

Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton,
Wolf Blitzen,
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !

Even in Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.

So we spoke not a word, as they trampled our faith ...
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace!

The true Gift of Christmas would never be missed;
While the reason for the season, soon ceased to exist.

Go enjoy 'Winter Break' in a Christmas-free zone.
While sipping your Starbucks, and cheesy calzone.

And choose your words wisely, yes, choose what you say,
And replace 'MERRY CHRISTMAS,' with 'Happy Holidays!'
