I serve in a local Church where I have been for the past seven years. I was called into a ministry position but due to problems in the Church and a rapid decrease in attendance my duties have changed and I now find myself more in a role of music leader whose only role is to lead the music on sunday morning, read the announcements and lead the morning prayer. Our evening services are more of an informal bible study (like an evening sunday school) and the four times I have been asked to preach at the church was to lead the studies, which I love to do but I have not actually preached or really ministered in a pastoral sense in a very long time.

    What can/should I do?

What do you see as the underlying reason or reasons for the rapid decline?
