Based on what I know about him, which is not very much, I would have little trouble voting for him if the election were today.

I would like to see him on a ticket with Romney. Romney's predictions during the debate with Obama in 2012 have all come to fruition. He nailed the whole thing. He also has the experience politically. Put Carson on the ticket as vice and give him 8 years to get politically aclimated.

I endorse what rm has said. Romney would be the better #1 on the ticket. He's been vetted and he's fit and qualified. Carson is a good man,but to venture into dangerous political waters as a presidential candidate with no experience in politics is not wise.

I know in an ideal world we need statesmen --not politicians. Having to deal with the political reality is the way it is.

Too early to tell. Since I'm not aligned with the RNC or DNC, it doesn't mean much as to what party he ends up with or if he's third party. I've happily voted 3rd party in the past.

From what I know of Dr Carson, he's a hold thinker with a first rate mind. That doesn't translate to success in politics anymore. Too often cunning and rhetoric trump intellect. That said, his lack is substantive executive experience will be a challenge.

Looking forward to hearing him articulate his message. At this point, he's more like Allen Keyes than anyone else...and I'll always vote for Allen Keyes.

Romney was a disaster for the RNC, so it'll be interesting to see who they get up next.

Romney had his chance. It is time for Gov. Perry, a former Marine.

I think so. They say that he can raise a lot of money very easily. He is waiting until after November 2014 to say anything much. Do you like him? I was for him last time.

If Perry runs, he will get as far as he did last time. He has no chance because of his reputation as a dumb Texan.
