That's right....the one time President who looked America in the eye [via television] and said, "I did not have se
l relations with that woman" and the Presidential hopeful who lied about taking federal campaign funds stood side-by-side, embraced, and mutually praised one another.

That had to be a first. Oh, sure, there have been liars on television before, however, they were reading scripts in order to act out the roles they played on a particular television show.

This was reality TV at its BEST, and America may never again see this on the tube, so relish the moment, and don't forget you heard it here first, from me. My only hope is that those still undecided voters watching the Barrack Infomercial realize that they were watching one liar endorse another.

That was the epitome of political deceit.

Shalom, and may the Wisdom of God be upon all Americans as they cast their vote!

The one thing that bothers me about Obama more than anything else is what almost seems a miraculous rise to power without any substance. Four years ago today he is an Illinois state senator.

It almost seems like there is some force behind it. Are people so angry at Bush that they are not even thinking about who they are voting for, or is there something directing this rise?

On a lighter note PP, to be fair about looking into the camera and lying, you have to add "I am not a crook."

    There is a Power....

You are right....there is a power behind his rise, and I really don't think it is Godly.

It is probably not even supernatural.

It appears to be anger with Bush, and the blindness caused by deep seated anger.I believe that people are so blinded by their anger, that they have become pure fools as they cast there vote of anger for a man they no NOTHING about. And the fact that Obama is an empty suit is what scares me the most. The idiots that vote for Obama will wake up and cry out to God and the Republicans, asking why we did nothing to stop them, and we'll say we did, but you shut us out when we tried to warn you. So like the poor French once said, "Let them eat cake!"

There are two possible results with this election year. It will be a black mark in the history of America, or, it will be the best thing to ever happen to America. I vote for the first thought, what say you, BB members???

    Nixon, Agnew, Yes, I Know...

However, they're dead, and part of our history...I'm talking about the present and possibly the future. Had Nixon and Spiro appeared with Obama a and Clinton, there would have been four. But, that was not the point of the post. The point is, we had two blatant liars on stage, expecting us to believe all they had to say: NO WAY!!!

Sadly I think in this day and age, most politicians on the national level are liars. So most likely every time we see any two of them together we are seeing that.

    PP,
Our fault in this, and it is what has lead to the third party vs Republican debate, is that we have allowed the party over time to become a waterdown version of what it used to be. For me, it was so frustrating that the third party seemed the best choice. That is, until one realizes the Democrats has slipped as far left as the Republicans. Maybe in the future there will be a better time to stand and take a true conservative stand. This year though, we will be lucky to put a stop to the radical socialism that is about to be elected to office.

Humble Apology on Slip of Tongue [fingers]

It was pointed out to me that I called those who would vote for Obama, "idiots." I am wrong for using such a word to describe another person. I did not mean to use the word in a way that demeaned those voting for Obama. If you would look at the definition of the word "idiot" [below], you will see what I truly meant:

    Main Entry: id·i·ot
    Function: noun
    Pronunciation: 'i-de-&t
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French ydiote, from Latin idiota ignorant person, from Greek idiOtes one in a private station, layman, ignorant person, from idios one's own, private; akin to Latin suus one's own -- more at SUICIDE
1 usually offensive : a person affected with idiocy
    2 : a foolish or stupid person
    - idiot adjective

My rationale for using the word was akin to the fact that those who are voting for Obama out of anger and hate for Bush are "foolishly wasting their vote." To some folks "idiot means one thing, and to me it means another. Still, I was wrong, and I offer my apology if I offended anyone.

I guess if I had called them "foolish" or "stupid" I'd still have run afoul, but I was honestly trying to describe these folks as angry, hateful, blind persons wasting their vote to send a message. A message that may just do more harm to America, than anything in history to date.

Again, my most humble apologies, and I will promise to not be as harsh the next time I express my outrage toward the millions of people who allowed their outrage to elect a person that is clearly NOT ready to be president of this once great nation!!!

    Emphasis mine

My sentiments exactly. It's rather dumb to cut off a finger because there's a big wart on it; much more sensible to get the wart removed.

But I agree that those that are disgusted with Bush, and vote for O for that reason, are doing exactly that.

These 3rd party adherents had best get a grass-roots movement started to get their folk raised up over time - kinda idiotic to wait for a national election and expect the nation to embrace those that they have never heard of.

Granted, the Ds have done it twice - Clinton and now Obama; but there's mucho $ and the ITTM behind them - don't expect that with a 3rd party.

As I have said before, God holds you accountable for the choices you make - do you want to face Him with a "protest" vote that possibly allows the "greater" of two evils win?????

    Something to think about.
