I will remind you that it wasn't Baptists that set up this abomination, it was those crazy Methodists in California.....so go talk to them.

No EWF. The people on this thread...

There is ONE who is holy.

They are saying that an image made of THE ONE is sacred.

    It is not.

That is an abomination and a lie.

    It is wrong.

They said replacing this image was sacrilege.

You don't make cheap plastic images of THE ONE and declare them sacred. For that matter, you don't make them out of pure gold and call them sacred. It is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.

Plastic assembly line baby divinity is not sacred and flies in the face of sacred, then to sit here and throw hissy fits that another denomination replaced your forbidden item of worship, which you are told not to have, and point the finger at them for being sacrilege?

    No, no, and no.

Get rid of them. When you're making an image of THE ONE and calling it sacred, you are messing with something so much more than you are, so much more than you have any standing to mess with. Knock it off. Repent. It's wrong.

I rather like it! It's almost as good as my stint as "Da Gina" when someone joined with the same name so I went into artistic mode and changed mine.

These are pretty much my thoughts as well. Thanks for putting them into words!

Actually, the "nutjobs in Kansas" aren't Baptists. They call themselves Baptists, but use that name wrongly. They don't hold to any of the Baptist Distinctives.

Second, they're not a denomination. They're one cult with about sixty members, most of them family members.

Thanks, but I do understand all the "variables". To the "man on the street", the fact that they "CALL" themselves baptists, will often identify them as such.
