I guess you can turn back on all of your morals for the sake of getting the opportunity to FINALLY support somebody who will win. Nothing like putting self #1.

What do you mean "FINALLY"? I've already done that four times.

    You said it...

I am tired of voting to do nothing more than send a message via the minor party route. I need to try to have impact with the votes that I have left.

    I also wrote, webdog:

"I have only voted for a major party candidate four times for president and each time that candidate won."

Anything to add to the discussion, or are you trolling again?

I agree with Obama. He is right on concerning abortion, as a majority of the country agrees.

Where does the tale of Sodom and Gomorrah mention abortion, or even gay marriage? I must have the abridged version of the Bible.

Strange majority, because in the local paper it showed McCain 44% and Obama 43% if that were the ticket.

I'm afraid our country is sharing in the same morals that will lead us down the same path. I would bet there were practices a LOT worse than abortion and gay marriage that were taking place in S&G.

    "Profoundly difficult decision"?

    What is so difficult?

    What is Obama talking about?

    Why women have abortions http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html
1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest; 6% of abortions occur because of potential health problems regarding either the mother or child, and 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient).

What "social reason" would be considered "profoundly difficult" to make?

    God Bless! :praying:

He said the majority agree with Obama on abortion, not that a majority would vote for Obama if the election were held today. Looks like we are in for another close election though.

He is wrong. Latest polls show that over 50% of americans are pro-life. So Obama is making false statements.

Did you notice that Obama is never honest about where he stands on the subject. He always passes it off on "they" "the American people", "women". If he personally is against abortion then his political decisions on the subject should line up. After all he is against the war, but he doesnt say "the American people, "they" when discussing the Iraq war. He always says " I never voted in favor of it". It bugs me when they take this "personally I am against abortion but" stance.
