    As I have understood it, Catholic Hospitals have threatened closer if their Doctors are compelled to perform abortions. If Baptist Hospitals follow their lead we will indeed have a health care crisis.

    President Obama is indeed the "Abortionist Potentate".

    I just don't get it. We're in a bad recession, we're at war, people are losing their jobs and the prices of utilities are going up bigtime--yet Mr. Obama's first priority as president is to kill the unborn. He certainly does not care for the welfare of the USA. Instead, he has a political agenda to satisfy. If this recession is half as bad as the libs say, then WHY spend more money to kill the innocent babies? DUH!

    These embryos would never have been born. They would have been discarded. I am not commenting on the morality of it, just stating a fact.

    It's simple...

    Less babies... fewer mouths to feed... = better for families... more money to spend on the economy...

    So abortion helps the economy by making it easier for poor families.
    It is a wicked stimulus package...

    Abortion also helps the environment...
    If we kill off these CO2 producing humans that eat a lot of livestock which also produces gas (methane).. then it will help stop Global warming.... and poor polar bears can live longer.

    Abortion also helps in the energy crisis...
    If we can kill off potential drivers... then the need for oil will decrease in the future....

    Abortion may also kill off future republicans... thus securing the democrats control...
    I guarantee, if every aborted baby could come back now.. they would be a prolife republican.

    But what the libs have overlooked is that abortion is indirectly responsible for our economic woes...

    Let's say all the aborted babies were still alive today in America... that would be more workers paying taxes.. and into Social Security.

    Thus the baby boomers would have a generation bigger than them, behind them.. so that when the baby boomers get through with SS and die off, the system would not be broken.

    What happened was my generation was cut in numbers due to abortion.. and now there are not enough workers paying into SS... to keep the boomers afloat.

    Lifting the ban on using Federal funds for embronic stem cell research includes the creation of embryos for the expressed purpose of destroying them in the name of research.

    Could they not be put up for adoption instead? I would think the parents have the right to decide that, at least I hope.

    I think they are. What else can Christians do? You can't force a heathen to see truth and what good would it do anyway; they are lost no matter what sins they commit. Again, heathen do heathen things. Worry about keeping yourself holy, that is the best medicine to reach the lost.

    If this is the case, we are treading on very dangerous ground. It makes me wonder where those embryo's will come from. Will people soon be able to "sell" their embryos to make extra money, like they do with blood plasma?

    If you knew someone was getting a treatment from aborted embryonic stem cells how would you pray for them?



    I know someone who flew to china to have this treatment done because he is paralyzed...

    I have to say.. .I find it hard to pray for him.
    To me it is very selfish to say your ability to walk is more important than another life..

    I refuse to pray that the procedure works...

    I see nothing in any article about this that makes such a claim. From HERE

    New lines of cells may be formed from embryos slated for destruction, but I see nothing about creating them for such a purpose.

    So the martyred monk (his name escapes me at the moment) that stood in the Coliseum and proclaimed that the Gladiatorial games should stop was wrong to do so?

    He should have just found a nice quiet corner in a back alley and said a few prayer for the Pagans to stop their evil slaughter?

    Somehow your method of prayer without action is just falling a bit short on calling.
