about a pastor being divorced and pastoring

    My friends church recently fired their pastor because he had been married and was divorced they tried to run the show and were very rude about it. What can they do to not be this way also why is it wrong?

    I know a pastor that was asked to resign from a church that grew from 75 to about 600 in six years. He was never divorced. He is now in charge of evangelism for the SBC in that state for the denomination.
