    Yes, Jesus' approval of Abraham's faith does not mean Abraham is in fact to be replicated in today's Church doctrine.

    Should Christian missionaries today in a foreign country stay in a house of prostitution as did Joshua with Rahab because God approved it? Yes? No?

    Does God deal with His Church today in the same terms as He did with Abraham? No. Abraham is not an example for Gentiles. He is just a point of reference for Hebrews.

    People that are Saved have a context of knowing how God Saves souls.

    Abraham's faith is not replicated in any person today, other than in the Providence of God through His Son. Abraham is a figurehead of Hebrew Theology, we are not Hebrews.
