I don't like a lot of what the ACLU does but since I haven't heard of it breaking any laws I don't think that it can be accurately described as being "subversive".

Ken, these people are stuck in their own world. They tend to remind me of Archie Bunker from the TV show, All in the Family.

Set in his own world. - Not willing to change. - Not even willing to look at the group - Just willing to spew his hate and vile about things he didn't either know about.

    In other words, Closed Minded

I think from now on, I will call them Archie.

It is not required that a law be broken in order to subvert something.

What do you think that the ACLU is subverting?

    The Constitution for one.

The traditional American culture for two. Who do you think is pushing multiculturism?

The moral fabric, what is left of it, of this country for three. Who else would defend members of NAMBLA against the homosexual murder of a child?

The U.S. constitution protects the right "to petition the government for a redress of grievances".

Groups that don't agree with your religious values have just as much of a right to push their agenda as you have.

Other people could accuse you of trying to subvert the U.S. constitution and establish a theocracy.

Their accusation would be just as wrong as yours.

    Ken

    Petitioning is not subverting.

No one has the right to sexually abuse and murder children.

You need to get that knot in your gut untied! :D
