    The FCC said that in this particular case the usage didn't violate rules. The particular case was during an awards show, and the person was excited and uttered profanity without refering to sexual situations.

    So, the conclusion is that in future award shows, the recepients are free to express themselves in like manner without fear of penalty.

    Game shows and sitcoms are a different story, at least until those situations come up before the FCC. Until then, this form of profanity is allowed on live award show broadcasts.
