Acts 8:37 is in the KJV & Douay-Rheims but not The Latin Vulgate...

    or maybe its numbered differently?

if it is not actually there somewhere, (it's all greek to me) which of these two versions of this verse are "official"?

is the vulgate the Official (Roman?) Catholic Bible?

maybe i shoulda posted this in "Bible Versions" but it's kinda Catholic spec

This is all I could find about it. Seems not all early manuscripts have it in there. Both the Latin Vulgate and the Duay Rheims are Catholic Bibles.

Because it is not in most Greek manuscripts. It is not found in the ESV, NIV, and bracketed in the NASB, just to name a few. It is not a conspiracy by the Latin Vulgate. [IMG]
