(CNSNews.com) -- NARAL Pro-Choice America, a pro-abortion advocacy group, has launched a nationwide television ad campaign linking Supreme Court nominee John Roberts with "anti-choice extremists who use bombings and other forms of intimidation against women, doctors, and nurses at women's health clinics."

Republican and pro-life groups immediately denounced the ad campaign as false and misleading.

The new NARAL ad focuses on Roberts' 1991 friend-of-the-court brief filed on behalf of Operation Rescue in the Supreme Court case Bray v. Alexandria Women's Health Clinic -- a case arising from pro-life demonstrations outside abortion clinics.

Abortion rights groups compared the protesters' actions to the violence and intimidation carried out by the Ku Klux Klan.

But in 1993, the Supreme Court rejected the comparison, ruling that the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 could not be used against pro-life demonstrators; and that abortion protesters were not discriminating against women as a class.

The left will do anything in order to win I guess. According to the article, NARAL had Emily Lyons at the press conference against Roberts. She was injured by the bombings of Eric Rudolph in Birmingham in 1998.

But here is the truth about Eric Rudolph:

"Many good people continue to send me money and books," Rudolph writes in an undated letter. "Most of them have, of course, an agenda; mostly born-again Christians looking to save my soul. I suppose the assumption is made that because I'm in here I must be a 'sinner' in need of salvation, and they would be glad to sell me a ticket to heaven, hawking this salvation like peanuts at a ballgame. I do appreciate their charity, but I could really do without the condescension. They have been so nice I would hate to break it to them that I really prefer Nietzsche to the Bible."

Nietzsche, of course, was the sodomite philosopher and Nietzsche was the philosopher most popular with Adolph Hitler.

So Eric Rudolph is a criminal who has no connection with anything except nazi philosophy.

Does anyone know why a supporter of the ideas of Nietzsche decided to bomb an abortionclinic?

According to Fox News Roberts argued the case as a member of Bush 1's Justice Department.

In any event it shows how slimy the leftists will get to stop Roberts; but what should one expect from people who support the murder of unborn children?

I think it was because he could satisfy his lust to murder and also to murder women whom he disliked and yet provide himself with a modicum of cover by pretending to be outraged by abortion to help hide his motive against women. I wondered about that all night. What do you think?

In all honesty, I haven't got a clue. I've read a little Nietzsche as part of an introduction to the great philosophers course. None of it seems to have any application whatsoever when it comes to developing a p.o.v. regarding abortion.

Daisy recently questioned whether there was a liberal bias in the media or not...

We will see if the press pounds NARAL like they do conservative groups who actually tell the truth in ways that liberals find offensive.

Amen OldRegular. The slimier, the grosser the lie the happier the left is. But what is a lie to a group that has helped murder millions of ionnocent babies.

The "left" is not the only side to lie and distort. NARAL's tactics should not surprise any of us. NARAL is at least consistent while those claiming to represent the "right" tend to be as guilty of hyporcrisy as anybody. Examples of both here:

    Don't think so Stratiotes.

Factcheck is not without biases of its own. It selectively chooses things and I guess tries to give equal numbers from both sides.

Especially during the election, I found that the things brought out against libs were generally concrete distortions or contradictions of fact. The things they brought out against conservatives were generally either cases of accentuating the worst or matters of interpretation of facts.

Bush nominated this man, who certainly is not anyone's first choice for the US Supreme Court. If the liberal Republicans abandon Roberts, it will once again show that Bush makes too many concessions to the left, who would have abandoned Roberts, one of their own by virtue of his Catholicism. If Bush decides not to fight for Roberts, perhaps his next choice will be someone worth fighting for--otherwise, let the GOP moderates fight for Roberts. Why should a conservative bother with Roberts in spite of their initial lip service in support of him?

Isn't NARAL strange? They want to murder the unborn by the hundreds of thousands.

The disturbing thing is that this NARAL group had no qualms about running this attack ad obviously knowing that it was full of lies. It’s like they had assurance from the main stream media that their ad would receive promotion with no investigation.

They should have learned from Michael Moore and CBS News that old-school attacks don’t provide the free ticket anymore. The cries from their lemmings can’t drown out the shouts of truth.

It is people with this mind set who let sexual predators loose in the community.

A REPUBLICAN court ruled on Roe vs. Wade. Who's responsible for all these abortions?
